Any other team he would be ready by next Tuesday. With our training staff lucky he plays before 12/25

With the same “clean” reporting that technically gives 3-6 month timeline prognosis.

A sprain is an injury.

Leborn had a "clean" groin MRI too. Just means no tears.

Woj didn't write "AD is not injured", that was paraphrasing by the OP

The injury thread. Where we post accurate information, not excited reactions.

Yep, hope this one will fare much better. Dr. Seto watches over the staff now with Nina replacing Marco.

It's a Grade 1. Give an example of a player missing that much time with a Grade 1 finger sprain.

Over the weekend, Udonis Haslem of the Heat sprained his wrist and is expected to be out for one week.

I guess that's an example of the timetable of a minor sprain. Hopefully it's similar for AD.

This video from Laker Film Room breaks down the possibilities for the type of injury AD got and what to expect if its a Level 1 sprain (when he did this video they didn't know if it was a level one, and now we pretty much do know)

AD was out shooting without having his thumb wrapped. Preseason injury / excuse to rest him to avoid injury. He is fine will be there opening night it would appear.

Thumb sprains are extremely common in basketball. Many times you just stress the tendon and it's no bid deal. You put some ice on it and in a couple of days you're good to play. I think this was all, but they just want to create some drama, because what's LA without drama.
