Kuz didn't look good offensively or defensively tonight.

I like Kuz but it's time to trade him for a defensive wing.

Need him as the 3rd scoring option but the dude has to learn to play defense consistently.

If he doesn’t have it offensively sometimes that’s fine, but defense has to be there.

We definitely need Kuzma as the microwave third scorer considering I dont full trust AD on offense but he really needs to pull his head out of his ass for that last minute

Overreactions on here are hilarious. Lebrons been closing for us the whole season along with AD and the rest of the squad we are 14-2, y'all remember last season where this would have been a L in the first quarter?

Sorry, the goggles excuse doesn't fly with me. He didn't even need to do anything once he had the ball after the Lakers got the stop on that defensive possession. There was no reason whatsoever to take a dribble. You aren't a guard or a ballhandler. You have the ball secured. Do nothing until you can pass it to someone who is a ballhandler.

That doesn't mean I don't like Kuz or anything of the sort. Just calling out a bad play.

yea idk wtf hes talking about that was just a bonehead play by kuzma. he be outta control at times!!

Im not talking about one play specifically but about the game he had overall. It was a dumb play by him at the end im not excusing that.

Im with you on the crucial TO he had it was dumb as hell. But overall he made a lot of dumb things i think would have been avoided had he not worn those googles.

They literally have to keep shooting 80% from 3 for this to be a game. Lakers are going to take over soon.

You called it

Was excepting the fact we might come out gassed on the second night of a B2B this could be a L.
Especially since AD obliterated this Grizz team with 40 and 20 in three quarters I knew they were gonna come out motivated to get us back in their house.

Feels damn good to have a good team with a good coaching staff to weather the Storm.

14-2 🔥🏀🔥🏀🔥🏀🔥🏀🔥🏀🔥

To me Kuzma looks too cool for school kind of like Robert Horry did. Except Horry was a defensive mastermind who was always at the right place at the right time in terms of team defense and would only get beat by bigger players in the post down in the block. If Kuzma has Horry's ice cold clutch gene (which to me I have a strong suspicion he has it) he is good in my book. He can shoot it and score better than Horry ever could. Essentially a bigger slightly less efficient version of what Cedric Ceballos was for the Suns in the early 90s. Even Kuz could play better defense than Ceballos did though.

Better than Embiid, Towns, Jokic, and AD?

But even with all the vodoo and black magic of these fools, we still winning. Hah! Take that trash teams.

Fair enough. It's certainly possible he isn't quite comfortable with the goggles, though, as I said, that wouldn't excuse taking an unnecessary dribble in that situation. Now, the play with a couple of seconds left where he bobbled the ball while down on his lap, yeah, that could happen if you don't quite have great vision.

I meant amongst Lakers big men and yes by that I mean that peak version of Bynum (which I dont think we ever really saw since the point at which he had all or most of his post moves never really coincided with his athletic peak - missed by 1 year actually as Bynum was never his athletic peak again after the Odom collision). When he got his offense going it was like watching a hybrid of Shaq and Duncan and for those that remember those brief stretches of Bynum, you know that is not an exaggeration. On offense, I would take that version of Bynum over what I have seen of AD. That version of Bynum would destroy Jokic who isnt a strong defender (remember what Bynum would do consistently against a strong post defender like Marc Gasol). Embiid and Towns would give Bynum trouble as they represent guys that can take him outside and inside (similar to how Cousins used to give Bynum trouble even as far back as Cousins rookie year)

was disappointed with lebron's shot selection in the fourth but then he finally went for that layup which was exactly what I wanted him to get. good job on that one hope he sticks to that instead of 3 point hoists. this was way too close of a game. our defense since bradley went out and rondo came back is bad. not sure if the two are related but probably.

That was the year Kobe was supposed to meet Lebron. And unlike most times these two meet, I sincerely believe that had these two teams met in the finals, the Lakers would have demolished the Cavaliers despite their 66 win season. (We had 65). I also believe that a fully healthy Boston without Garnett's injury would have given us a real run for our money
