Typically it's not cool for a player to lose his starting position due to injury but I can't help but notice how well our offense has been playing with KCP starting as opposed to AB. The Lakers are now #5 in the league in offensive efficiency. Defensive efficiency has slipped a little to #7. I think the team has better balance and chemistry with KCP in the starting lineup. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold.
to me its simple, kcp should keep starting as long as he continues this level of play. i think its a bad decision to move him back to the bench where he struggled and potentially screw him up mentally. dude is shooting 44% from 3!! he and danny green is the floor spacers that bron and ad need!! and kcp is also a good defender. hes not good as avery on defense but he is still more than capable. the gap between kcp's shooting and avery's shooting is wayy bigger than the gap between avery's defense and kcp's defense!!

hmm, I am not convinced what is taking place on the court when they are on the court has a lot to do with either as long as they are not causing problems. I lean towards KCP, but I am not sure there is a material dropoff with AB.
Bradley is more Important for the starting line up because we need that bull dog mentality on defense, KCP can still do his thing and produce off the bench.

Bradley sets a defensive tone early. I think that is important to start out games. If you like offense, of course you will choose KCP. I think defense is more reliable so I would focus on that.

BINGO.
If AB is healthy, let's lock teams down from the tip-off. _________________ On Lakersground, a concern troll is someone who is a fan of another team, but pretends to be a Lakers fan with "concerns".
we need them all, doesn't matter who starts. it's not about their percentage or average. It's about having these 3-4 guys who can get hot from the arc, basically. With this team, we need at least one guy getting hot each game to win. It doesn't matter who. some nights it will be KCP, other nights Bradley, etc. SOme nights, multiple, and it will be a blowout.

You guys must be new to KCP. He's one of the most streakiest players. Everyone wanting him to replace Bradley in the starting lineup are bandwagon-thinkers: Jump on the next hottest thing.
I'll consider history and realize that KCP is incapable of putting together a complete season and just enjoy his current hot streak before the real KCP stands up. _________________ Don't make me give you a trout slap!

I agree. Also, KCP is a streaky player. He will go cold again soon. AB's defense is consistent and gets everyone else fired up on defense early

KCP has played well for several consecutive games, but we're inconsistent on defense lately without AB setting the tone early. We have a lot of capable scorers, and we're getting further and further into our offensive schemes. Of course our offense is going to improve, KCP or no KCP. Way premature to elevate KCP over AB.
What they've proven so far is that AB, Green, KCP and Caruso are our top 4 guards in the rotation, and all 4 of them warrant playing time based on the matchups.

AB and it's not even a debate imo.
He was just starting to look much better offensively that last little while before he went down too so looking at his overall numbers are a little deceiving.
Since training camp the entire time and coaching staff has been preaching defense first and AB is another entire level above any other perimeter defender we have when healthy.
Keep giving KCP plenty of minutes though as long as he is delivering like he has lately.
