KCP to start....Lakers have had some issues with slow to warm up offense lately and he’s be coming around on offense. Then AB to close out games with D? Seems like Green and even Rondo get those 4th Q minutes lately though. |

I'll consider history and realize that KCP is incapable of putting together a complete season and just enjoy his current hot streak before the real KCP stands up. |
He is streaky but he is only 26 and he is only entering his prime now. It is possible that he has just plain improved and has taken his game to the next level, at least I hope he has
I'd start KCP |

You go back to AB. And see if the offense falters. Hard to say if the reason our offense got better is because AB wasnt there because there is also the factor of time.
If it does regress, then you consider a switch. |

Avery should start. He doesn’t have a better role than playing alongside LeBron as a secondary ball handler and point of attack defender. and the Lakers play better with him in the lineup than KCP.
If KCPs production slips, its next man up. _________________ Darvin |

More important to shut down the other team from the start and not let them get into a rhythm. Our scoring punch can follow that. |

KCP - he isn't the ball-hawk defensively, but he's more than adequate on defense (when he's not guarding bigger wings), he spaces the floor all the way to the 3-point line, I love the way his fills the lane in transition, etc...
Bradley can always finish games...or you can stagger the both of them. |

Bradley-KCP-Green-LeBron-Davis could be an interesting lineup... |

Agree. Bradley set the tone defensively and without him, teams just have their ways and those teams aint exactly good team. We just have good enough offense to roll through and KCP in a hot streak also help a lot.
Look how Clips handled the Mavs. They took the head (Doncic) and the rest could not do anything and drop dead. |

The defense takes a big dive with KCP starting but the offense goes up a lot. Still, I would rather have AB because his defense is consistent while KCPs shooting is streaky |

We should take into account the quality of our opponents since KCP has been starting and the fact that the winning margin has been dwindling. Is that complacency or reality? Only time will tell. I'm still on the start AB wagon until then.
I too like the idea of AB-KCP-Green as our primary closing lineup. _________________ Luxury Tax/FA Spreadsheet (Save to your Google Drive to edit) |

IMO it doesn't really matter who starts between KCP and AB, but I'd always go with Bradley in the clutch. Defense over offense... |

I think what this shows is that KCP is best served being matched up as a 1, who plays off Lebron as point forward. Usually smaller 1st are defending KCP and Lebron is being taken by a 3 or 4.
As well seems KCP has good chemistry with AD, Lebron, Green. Even Dwight. Interesting to see what they do.
KCP has a size advantage on 1 vs smaller 1s. He does not get this advantage at 2. Then, he also does not get anywhere near the same looks, being a backup 2 coming in on the 2nd unit. The looks AD and Lebron create, man, ridiculous. |

Start AB. Better defender. Much better with the waterbugs. Give natural defensive balance. KCP is better for switching but he can’t stay in front of 1s as well.
You can still stagger the minutes so kcp gets run with Bron/AD but AB easily for me. _________________ Alltime lineup: Magic | Kobe | MJ | Hakeem | KAJ |

Tonight was a perfect example of why you need AB to start defensively. Holiday got hot and instilled confidence in his team. |
