AD/AB/Kuz/KCP shooting an amazing 20-84 from 3 point range after working with this guy. An amazing 24% on pretty much wide open 3s, wish i could be paid to be this bad at my job
Lethalscammer/Mehhellshooter seems to be getting some vivid feedback on his twitter (his IG seems to be MIA).
He was running his mouth on social media now being exposed as a fraud Claiming multiple teams wanted to hire him but he wanted to be own man Basically this is the kardashain strength trainer we hired all over
I was going to make a thread titled "Lethal Shooter Misses" but you beat me to the punch. _________________ On Lakersground, a concern troll is someone who is a fan of another team, but pretends to be a Lakers fan with "concerns".

Thus far, this guy appears to have totally broken their shots. Does this guy have any success stories in the NBA? How did he get to this level?
Let this be a cautionary tale to the “we need a shooting coach!” crowd that whined incessantly last year.
Our shooting coach is Penberthy. Kuzma and AD aren’t good 3 point shooters and Bradley was bad last season. Maybe posters are looking to turn a lump of coal into a diamond? _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023.

I'm confused by this thread. He's just certain players personal shooting coach, right? Not the teams?
All the players listed in the OP's post have normal forms. They ain't nasty like Lonzo's. I don't understand why these guys would get someone in their ears about shooting. They end up making it a psychological issue.
So if these guys get hot will you change your tune?
These guys have struggled to start. Okay. That doesn't mean you have to start drawing conclusions about LethalShooter this early. KCP had a stretch last season where he was shooting the air out of the ball and it was said that he had started working with LethalShooter.
Also, no one was saying this when they saw Kuz's shot during FIBA either:
This is so stupid and toxic. _________________ “Christ did not die to forgive sinners who go on treasuring anything above seeing and savoring God. And people who would be happy in heaven if Christ were not there, will not be there."

With Kuzma he has 2 very distinct shooting strokes. A high stiffer arm extension on his free throws and a more fluid conventional above the forehead extension on his jumper. If you want to be picky you could add a 3rd as on his fade aways he extends the arms forward away from his face.
At 1.09 mark his free throw
At the 49 second mark his 3pt shot.
In comparison last year he shot at a lower set point (1.35 mark)
Why someone would intentionally teach this is somewhat perplexing.
Also his mechanics are inconsistent. At times on his 3pt shot it goes further back over his head. It depends if he is shooting from standstill or off movement with or without the ball. The main benefit I see from his new stroke is he gets a better arc on the shot.
I am hopeful that part of the problem is weary legs as I see less hops in his drives compared to last year and just improving his consistency.
One issue I do have with Lethal is his own shooting stroke is not a stroke you would want to teach to others. It's like taking golf or tennis lessons from someone who themselves have unorthodox fundamentals.

I thought Mike Penberthy was with the Lakers. He's a much better shooter than this fraud.
He is.
That Lethal Shooter guy was never hired by the Lakers organization. The players worked with him during the offseason.
Ok, good to know. I don't think players should have multiple shooting coaches. I know Penberthy can shoot circles around this guy. I have seen video of Lethal Shooter and his form sucks.

I actually think LS is probably a solid shooting coach; but I’m not convinced he has the answers for every/most players forms... and most shooting coaches don’t. I was always hesitant about LS because he said no to “sweep and sway” which is a common shooting technique , but LS seems to go by an old school book that worked for his form....although I’m sure he’s integrated what’s helped players he’s worked with.. T.Prince for Brooklyn is working with him and is having by far his best shooting year(early)
And I think Kuz’ form is slightly better than his previous..Kuz’ misses look better(straight) although his misses are typical for a high form, and it’s not the answer for everything —- the trajectory of the ball coming out from a high form isn’t great; Kuz has some hard misses, and short misses, typical imo w/ that form.
I think Kuz is a 35% guy this year, and better in the mid than previous..high forms usually do well in the mid. On his FT his form gets really high and I don’t think that will work.. seems like his jump helps connect his form. His FT stroke is way way higher than a typical player
Davis..idek.. his form has always been kind of unique imo, with his super long arms. I’m not confident he’ll be an average shooter..and he’s also got a shoulder injury that doesn’t seem minor
I notice both Kuz and KCP bring the ball from their stomach and shoot it from their face. Kind of like how Steph shoots it. Maybe this is something that works better for short-armed guys? Longer-limbed guys tend to bring it back behind their shoulder, something both Ingram and Kawhi did coming out of college. Chip Engelland taught Kawhi to bring it straight up and release above his head (kind of like how Kobe shoots) and BI looks like he's doing the same now.
If you look at LS, the guy is like, what, 6'2? Probably average arm span. A Steph-like shooting form probably works for him but not for guys with long arm spans like KCP, Kuz and AB.
This isn't really my realm tho. KIROE?
