It was his injury that caused defensive lapses? Like leaving his man open undder the basket to double team 3 point line? |
His D was atrocious today. And then you have him out there with a Rondo? Yikes. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Kuz and Rondo are gonna cost us games. need to upgrade from them while we still have time. Question is...how do we do that? |

We didn’t.
We picked AD over Ingram. |
Why do people still make that fraudulent claim about choosing Kuzma over Ingram? Ingram, Lonzo, and #4 were always going to be involved.
Perhaps Hart could have been kept over Kuzma but BI was NEVER off the table. Griffin was gushing over BI well before he ever took the job. |
It’s disingenuous. Pels rightfully wanted our best assets. Kuz was not that. |
And imagine had we given up Kuzma too. Pelinka would have been dragged for giving up everything. To be fair from out standpoint, after BI, there wasn't a big gap between Lonzo or Kuzma so it is what it is.
Let's hope he can come back to life.. all we need is efficiency in 16ppg. |

https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2840786-lakers-trade-rumors-pelicans-want-kyle-kuzma-included-in-anthony-davis-package
Tania Ganguli and Brad Turner of the Los Angeles Times reported the Pelicans want Kyle Kuzma as part of any Davis package, while the Lakers are hesitant to move him.
Report: Pelicans want Kyle Kuzma most among all Lakers prospects"The Pelicans are interested in three of the Lakers’ young players — whether that’s Kuzma, Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram or Josh Hart — and the No. 4 draft pick in order to acquire Davis, according to people familiar with the trade discussions who were not authorized to speak publicly. It’s possible New Orleans could use the No. 4 pick to acquire a player from a third team.
Among the young Lakers, New Orleans covets Kuzma the most."
They got lucky that the Lakers picked Kuzma to keep cause he was cheaper than Ingram... cause they got Ingram right before he took off, and the Lakers kept Kuzma after he'd already landed. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

Rondo has been okay on offense. But I don't think that he really has much trade value this early in the season due to his lack of effort defensively.
Kuzma needs to get healthy. He needs to defend better, rebound and do the little things to help the team until he gets rolling. IMO he's not ready to be a 3rd option. |

personally I thought Brad Turner was shoveling large quantities of bad information out there about the AD trade. |

Of course they wanted him. If the Lakers offered to throw him in, they would have taken it.
There was never an Ingram/Kuz choice is the point no matter how hard we stomp our feet.
There’s also the source to consider. |

his defense would have been nice when combined with Davis's and having an actual point guard out there that could do so. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

He can’t play defense if he cannot stay on the court though. Love Lonzo but my god the kid is made of glass. |

Not even true. People running with this false narrative. We were going after Kawhi and needed every ounce of cap space. Heck we had to trade mo and Bonga for nothing too. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

I wish that we had kept Hart. Then we might have been able to fill a hole with Rondo’s salary. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

I’m still having a tough time evaluating Kuz fairly and objectively.
Dude has had 3 legit injuries over the past month. |

Kuzma was sensational as a rookie. Now he tries too hard to be sth he really isn't, e.g. being the 3rd scoring option. He forces things instead of letting the game come to him and play within the flow of the offense. I'd take Rookie-Kuzma over the current version any day tbh. |
