Mr. James is going the way of Mr. Kuzma, reliable for only one thing (assist-padding) and barely that. I'm not just basing my assessment on tonight. James is supposed to be a prolific scorer, but I haven't seen any evidence of that the entire season. I also haven't noticed him being a true rebounder, and he doesn't convert any free-throws. His mid range game is horrendous, and he misses layups too frequently. So, if he isn't making his 3 point shots, his value to the Lakers team is stymied.

We can put Kuzma (and to an extend KCP) in the same category as James, players that may have big 3 point shooting nights every 6-7th game, or so. But between those big games, we get little to nothing from them.

I like both Kuzma and James, but I have to pull for the team before individuals. Kuzma and James are wildly inconsisent and cannot be relied upon to do any one particular thing really good, game in and game out.

Very disappointed in L. James. Hope he and Kuz get out of their collective funks and start contributing.

Bayless is the first thing that came to mind for me, too.

“Lebron can’t be relied upon to do any one particular thing really good”.

Not worst take of this decade, but worst take overall?

This is the best Lebron you’ll get in the regular season. He’s actually playing defense in the regular season for the first time since leaving Miami. He doesn’t care what you think. He doesn’t care what I think. Just enjoy his last few seasons and be thankful that it’s in a Lakers uniform.

Did you happen to notice LeBron having a Triple-Double in his previous game?

Did you notice that the 7.7 rpg that LeBron's has this year is HIGHER than his career rebounding average of 7.4 rpg?

I just checked his stats and he has in fact made 129 FT's this year, so your statement would seem to be a bit off, also did not notice that he is actaully shooting 1.4% than last season?

Did you by chance notice that the Lakers have a 3-1/2 game lead over ALL Western conference teams and the 2nd best in the NBA? That is largely due to LeBron.

Not sure what category you are referring to, since LeBron averages 25 ppg which is MORE that Kuz (12ppg) and KCP (9rpg) COMBINED!

Here pull this....

Yet somehow the Lakers have won 80% of their games with those two buffoons!

Maybe they can trade him before the deadline...

17 points on 17 attempts won't cut it in this league. Mr. James has to work on his efficiency, starting with free-throws. His defense is also overrated, the first few games he might have shown some effort, but now he is back to his old habit of cruising and taking possessions off. Every time he goes to the hoop, it's the same scenario: He gets blocked by some nobody, yells at the refs, opponent runs the fast-break. Can't have that. And all those unforced turnovers... he needs to step it up, period

He does make a show of playing defense with minimal results. But it looks cool.

The team that can’t beat the other contenders and needs their starting lineup in the clutch to beat Phoenix and NO? The weaknesses in the roster are exactly as I pointed out preseason. It isn’t I who has no clue.

I actually think this would be great on the Kobe vs. LBJ thread. Carushow vs. Metro2Staples on the topic of Bron would be pretty entertaining imo.
