Can we consolidate the LO-hate threads?
Yeah, he's back.
You didn't see it coming?
I hate the LO-hater threads after any bad game.
I hate the LO-lover threads after any good game.
Hows about we wait for a legitimate trend of 5 good or bad games before
we whine like hell or get all fellacious on LO.
(I realize the irony of waiting for LO to have 5 good OR bad games in a row). |

LOs so inconsistent, he probably can't even have that many BAD games in a row, which is impossible to even realize the way he plays. |

If you're gonna wait for 5 games of either you'll be waiting a long time my friend. I wish it was but it just simply isn't for LO. _________________ One Love....

My bad Soda... I didn't scroll down far enough to see that last sentence before I posted my reply. I could simply just erase it but I'll man up and admit I had a "Lamar" moment. _________________ One Love.... |

tonight we have "latarded" and "lamoment". Great stuff.
Anyway, just wanted to formally welcome Lamar back to the Lakers. I don't know where he's been the last couple games before tonight. |

My turn to vent...
On Lamar:
You know what's sad? The Clippers commentators asked whether or not Lamar has improved much since his stellar rookie debut. That game, Odom had 30 pts, 10 boards and 9 or 10 dimes I forgot. It made me think and it hit me, Lamar today is the same as he was when he came into the league. Imagine Lamar's game today and imagine that he's only 20 years old. We would be thinking, "Wow! He's a little inconsistent, but give him a few years and he'll put everything together." The dude has not improved at all, and it was sad too when Michael Smith, after Lamar blows a left hand lay-up, said, "It's hard to imagine Lamar in his 7th season and has not learned how to shoot lay-ups with his right."
On Smush:
Why is this guy sleep-walking at times? He plays like he has the security of a 5 year contract. His turnovers are out of laziness. A half-azz entry pass, a travel violation that first graders can see... the dude just picks up the ball and takes 5 steps, that was freaking amazing. 8 second violation, Smush has the most on our team and chalk another one up today.
On Phil:
Ronnie Turiaf, Devin Green together in the 2nd period. Genius....
Letting the Clips go on a 17-0 run before calling time out.. Genius....
Hey, this ain't the championship Bulls or Lakers, you have to coach for a change. That "let them play through it" crap doesn't work here. |

I've made that same point a few times actually, and it's quite true.
Compare Lamar's rookie season stats to his stats this year.
The best you could argue is roughly the same overall contribution.
I've posted the actual stats about 10 times now on here, so someone
else feel free to dig 'em up again.
But the point is, he doesn't have the drive to become better.
He's going to be, at least roughly, the same player all of his career
until one day his decline kicks in.
That said, the guy could fit as our 3rd-option.
It just gets old grinding your teeth over his lack of improvement. |

I'm suprised you can still talk with Lamar's nutz in your mouth! Real Lakers fans should just accept that as long as Lamar is on this team he cannot be counted on as a consistent player. It is easier to maintain your sanity that way... _________________ One Love.... |

You know what I take it back since I can't hit a lady. |

I motion that there be a new forum opened up called LO/KG. Thats a good place to send the 50 page KG threads and 30 page LO hater/lover threads. I'm not a moderator, nor should I be, but we could talk about either guy all day long. |

I think it's busta. And what's wrong with saying nuts?
Oh busta nuts. I see where you're going with this.
I agree though, you gotta stop teabagging LO.
He ain't all bad, but you're acting like he's a superstar talent. |

The guy is a freaking bum. Did he even have a field goal in the first half? Maybe Steven A was right, maybe he just doesn't want to be here and doesn't care. He looked like he wasn't even trying out there. I can't believe you guys took offense to Lindsay Soto grilling him on tv. The guy is getting paid 13 million to pull this crap, I wish she would have slapped his sorry ass. |

Question, when was the last time you watched the Lakers on a back end of a back to back win? Especially after a win on the front end?
When the Clipps put that blitzkrieg on the Lakers in the first quarter they quit. When that happened Kobe was the only guy interested in playing... Had this game been played the day before it would'nt have even happened. That unfortunately is a problem and an obstacle this team just can't get over right now for some reason.
Go ahead and spotlight LO cause that is always the thing to do here but, hopefully you same people will be back after Sundays game with some compliments for LO, since you're so good with the criticism... _________________ "According to ESPN.com's conference projections, the Lakers will finish 12th in the West, which prompted Bryant to tweet earlier this offseason, "12th I see.." |

I don't think Odom scored a bucket in the first half. The guy deserves all the hate he gets. |

He didn't!!!! LO did drag ass in this game and, all the agression and, drive that we seen the last 4 games was completely gone. No energy on the boards. Fool had 1 assist of which that is the only thing I can excuse him on because the rest of the clowns were missing shots anyway.
LO led the "laziness" flanked by Devean and, Smush who also either forgot to have dinner or, have decided that they are going to boycott having to play back to back...
These are young men too. Why in hell can't they stay pumped for two days in row is (bleep) weird! _________________ "According to ESPN.com's conference projections, the Lakers will finish 12th in the West, which prompted Bryant to tweet earlier this offseason, "12th I see.." |

I'll take 4 out of 5 good games from LO in a heartbeat!!!
Stick to bashing Kwame!
I love his defense but it is all overshadowed by his Bree Walker type hands! _________________ 16 and counting.... |
