Man, the bench blowing huge leads especially in the 4th quarter is starting to get worrisome.
LeBron and AD can’t get no rest!
Other playoff teams have deeper benches than us which will ease their starters from playing too many minutes.
Need more bench firepower? _________________ |

I’m pretty sure Pelinka is already talking with teams so we can Improve the 2nd unit. |

It’s simple.
Secondary playmaker and better quality depth on bench. The truth may hurt but it can also get you over the hump.
The truth is they won’t get out of the West until they improve on these flaws. You can bet the Clippers aren’t finished addressing their shortcomings either. |

everybody needs a better bench. But the discussion is misleading at
some certain point. This team is a high draft pick team without
AD and LBJ and its normal. If we take out the two best players of every team
then every team is a bad team. |

Playoffs is different, your super stars play heavy minutes anyways. The worry here is the rest AD and lebron got, especially lebron, he is far from 100% |

The bench would be better if Rondo didn’t play and Vogel did a better job with his rotations. |

That’s the issue. PG and KL can rest games bc Lou/Trez plus one of PG/KL can still beat most teams. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Those soft tissue injuries can be a (bleep) to recover from if you dont get proper rest. |

I'd be absolutely shocked if they dont have at least 1-2 new players by the Playoffs.. They just are not going to make a lateral trade or sign a bum for no real reason. They are going to probably play it smart and go hard for Collison and then once the buyouts start happening that's when the real feeding frenzy will happen among the contenders.
I'm sure they will be going hard on the trade market as well for a small Ariza, Shannon Brown kind of deal as well but only if they feel it clearly improves them.
Also, our bench is going to look much better when Lebron or AD will be in pretty much at all times in the Playoffs as well and the rotations shorten.
Collison alone would give me full confidence of being able to beat anyone though so hopefully that happens. Perfect role player that covers several of the biggest flaws so far this season. |

They got more assets than us before this year, so it will take some time for us to build up this team. Hopefully we can win the chip this season and build the team even more with exceptions and cap room. Also our first round pick
Clippers faces an issue with trez being FA and Lou getting old.
In 3-5 years, who is going to be the best player between Kl, PG, AD and lebron? Easy answer |

What's most concerning about the Lakers giving up these leads is that it gives opponents confidence that they're never really out of it if they just play hard against these backup groups. Not being able to close out games w/ your bench guys just means a more leveraged Bron/AD. |

It’s a good point.
And why would teams like Denver or Houston even sweat 15 point deficits against the Lakers. |

Kuz has really settled to being a gunner. Thought he had more play making ability in his arsenal.
Rondo is horrible. Looks asleep. Balls slipping through fingers, careless turnovers, cringeworthy forced shots. Not being able to shoot has really exposed his game. It’s really really ugly. |

But by playoff time, we'll be staggering LeBron and AD anyway no? |

The Denver team that seems to play terrible with Jokic in and claw back the gap when he's out?
Gee I dunno ... |

Jeremy Lamb would have been a good signing with Bradley, Cook, and Rondo's money.
he does a little bit of everything at 6'6 |
