It's so weird.
I thought I would miss them.
But I don't

Same! I was obviously all in on the trade as it was something you had to do for someone like AD but if this team goes onto win a Championship this year and things continue like they have so far this years roster could end up one of if not my favorite roster to watch ever. I haven't missed a single second this entire season haha

How can you not love Dwight after this first half of the season so far?

Weird. This team wouldn't be where they are without him.

As much as we're enjoying the regular season.
Can you imagine what it'll be like in the playoffs?

Just skimmed through this thread. Agreed, this team has a special chemistry, which is awesome and I hope things don't get too mucked up around the trade deadline. Honestly, I'd rather keep the chemistry than try to insert new pieces mid-season.

2012. You don't quit on your team in the playoffs.

I'm not insta-condemning the guy, I'm just saying I'm not ready to love him. Not yet.

No one needs to love any of these players. Dwight's a rich doofus (bleep) who finally wised up after 34 years of being a doofus (bleep) (and rich for the last 15 of them). Good for him, good for the Lakers right now.

I remember when I loved seeing this trend.

But clearly tonight it wasn’t the Lakers out there. Someone kidnapped them and there were impersonators out there.

Someone should put out a kidnapping report and take the lost away.

Only played Boston once; no one else qualifies as a rival.

Ahh some tasty trade deadline theater:

More NBA flex scheduling. TNT will show the Lakers-Spurs game at Staples Center on Feb. 4 and changing tipoff to 7 pm. TNT is dropping the Portland-Denver game

I feel you pio2u but I would add a few teams as LA historical rivals

1) Celtics

2) Blazers
3) Kings

4) Jazz

5) Clippers (and moving up)

I hated Dwight when he left with all the surrounding drama, but he has been a revelation this season! He brings a toughness inside unlike McGee, and he has elevated the defense of this team with his amazing ability (and lateral quickness) to guard opposing guards/wings when switching onto them.
