I know it's the D-League, but those are still impressive numbers. Don't you think someone like him could help out? I know he's undersized, but he I think he could play some PF against most teams, just off the bench. He can score and board. _________________ Great Day In Laker History |

Anything would be better than Kwame at this point. I can't believe we gave up Caron for him.... _________________ "My thirst for domination is fed only by the game. I refuse to get distracted by outside forces." - Kobe Bryant |

We need a PG more than we need a PF. I can't stand to watch Smush anymore. |

Phil isn't a big fan of playing undersized players in general. If he had Fizer, he'd find a spot for him if he had to, but as far as going out and signing him in hopes of getting into the rotation..I'm not so sure. The only way Fizer were to hang would be this... if George didn't resign, and Fizer could hit a jumper here and there I'd consider him as a backup SF. He is too small and not a dominant rebounder at the 4 spot, and sadly would be an upgrade over Luke this year. Thats the only way I see him being a Laker, and that's not much of a chance though. |

I agree. Kwame is a good player, at least on the defensive end. Smush is the main problem in our starting lineup. He gambles too much on D, and shoots too uncontinuously. We need a veteran PG NOW. |

Undersized for sure (probably 6'7" in heels) but he can play with his back to the basket, and has averaged around 10 & 6 in 20 something minutes for his NBA career. Problem is he likely wouldn't get a sniff under Phil. |

I know I'm being a broken record, but I still think we should try to get Tim Thomas, the 6-10, 240 lb. forward witht he low-post game that the Bulls are buying out.

Yeah, maybe NJ has the inside track, but what have we got to lose? Half of an MLE that Mitch isn't probably going to use otherwise? If we're paying Kwame $8M and all he supposedly does is D, with no shred of a fragment of O, why not go after Thomas for a fraction of the price?

He singlehandedly kept the Bruins in the tournament who eventually won it all in 1995 and he is responsible for Lorenzo Romar and Cameron Dollar's coaching careers.
He also has more heart than most of the guys wearing the P&G! |

FYI regarding Tyus Edney. He has been MVP of the euroleague I believe (numeous times) and he has led his teams to championships as well. I have heard that NBA teams have not offered the money he is making over there...not sure how true that is, just saw it at http://www.bruinzone.com a while back.
I would love to see him back in the NBA. |

You might as well go after "Pig" Miller also, he's averaging 28 pts, 15 rpg, 4 ast, 3 blks, and 2 stls per game @ the Philippine Basketball League  |

Sure Fizer could help this team. A lot of players could, but Mitch isn't going to do anything to help this team. He has done his part by trading Caron away and using MLE real wisely the last two years. |
