14 games in January; 7 each at home and on the road. Two back to back games, both on the road.

Suns W
Pels W
Detroit W
Knicks W

@ Dallas W
@ OKC L back to back, we will be tired
Cavs W
Orlando W

@Rockets L I assume Harden will shoot 2000 free throws
@Boston W
@Knicks W
@Brooklyn W back to back, might make this tougher

@Philly L
Clips W finally time we win one of these....

11-3 if we play well, stay healthy and focused

11-3 seems completely doable...

37-10 overall would be great!

let's go...

Dog days of the season; I'm guessing Vogel makes sure LeBron and AD get some rest this coming month. 10-4. If he were win at all costs, my guess would be 13-1. I'll gladly take the 10-4 and a smart coach.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: I'm okay with anything over .5

Anything less than 12-2 would have to be considered a disappointment.

9 games they will win just by showing up.

In the remaining 5 against Dallas, LA, Boston, Houston, Philly, they just need to go 3-2.

This feels like the last month where wee really go all out before slowing down Feb and March for the playoff run.

11-3 seems right

Hopefully they can win 9 or 10 games of the 14 to be played. But we will have to see how injuries or rest days effect the results.

I always look at 10 game stretches. Lakers can go 6-4 in each set of 10 games in the last 49. They finish the season with 55wins and likely HC for the first round. They earn that and remain reasonably healthy is about as good as can be expected.

Let’s hope they just stay focused on one game at a time. Starting with tonight.

I think homecourt advantage in the Finals should be a goal for this team.

Too lofty a goal IMO.

So many dominoes would have the fall their way. Including injuries to major contributors on other top teams so they drop games while the Laker roster remains healthy and energized at an almost unrealistic level.

Maybe they surprise me. They have so far.

As long as Bron and AD are healthy like they were earlier this season, I honestly don't think we need homecourt. We've been pretty hard to beat on the road this year.

Between 1999-2008, a team with home-court advantage in the playoffs won more than three out of four series. In the first round, home teams won series at a rate of 81.3 percent. In the conference semifinals, home teams won 80 percent of the time. In the conference finals, it is interesting to note that the winning percentage dropped to 50 percent. In the NBA Finals, it climbed back up to 80 percent.

It wouldn't hurt.

Only challenges are Boston, Philly, Rockets, and maybe Brooklyn. It'll be 11-3 or 10-4 if the Nets make a bunch of 3s like they did in pre-season.
