Stop asking about Lebron. He could be there, could not be there. He already dealt with enough. He doesn't need to be talking and in front of the camera. Stupid that anyone cares.

If I have it right this memorial was also aired overseas. Kobe was a worldly icon.

He was there...Diana T. looked right at him when she made that joke, why the camera didn't show him who knows...he was there.

I knew he would be but I am happy he wasn't front and center...he didn't need to be. By the way, I didn't get to see all of it but recorded it. It was heavy.....Vanessa, MJ, Rob....man....I loved MJ. He was just pouring tears. Love that the man loved Kobe so much.

Beautiful memorial. I thought I wouldn't be able to sit through it, but it got a bit easier with every speaker giving their all. Kobe would've been proud of Vanessa and that exhibition of strength. A true Bryant.

Live forever, Kob.

i knew i could sit thru it..because i love kobe. but i also knew i couldnt sit thru it without tears running down my face throughout the whole thing and i was right

I almost turned it off once or twice. I'm glad I didn't. After awhile it became a thing of beauty.

No.

The speakers if I remember were Jimmy Kimmel, Diana Turasi, Sabrina Ionescu, Rob Pelinka, Vanessa Bryant, Geno Auriemma, Michael Jordan and Shaq.

If you're a praying person, pray for Joe and Pam. We go about life thinking we have all the time in the world...until we don't. Just pray for them.

Not sure he was there... I was looking trying to find a view of where Diana looked, but all I saw was 3 empty chairs next to AD.

Do what feels right to you.

I texted with a bunch of the homies to spread the love. Started reconciling with a long lost brother that we had a falling out over nothing years ago. And sent a heart felt Monday inspiration message to everyone in my school.

Now I'm gonna work my ass off and then text some more of my team and my grads just to check in.

But I'm only doing all of that because it feels right to me in this moment.

You got this bruh!

Suggestion: My bad for asking about LBJ. Let this be Kobe's day.

An account of what happened with all the players on the plane ride back from Philly at the moment they found out about Kobe.

I didn't see LeBron shown once.

Off of memory:

Lakers:
Quinn Cook
Rondo
Kuzma
KCP
Danny Green?*
AD
Dwight
Javale
Cousins*

Former Lakers
Caron Butler
Elgin Baylor
Shaq
Rick Fox
D Fish
Pau
Jerry West
Steve Nash
Many more

NBA players (former and current)
Curry
Westbrook
Harden
Bull Russell
Quentin Richardson
Paul Pierce
Michael Jordan

And so many others, so much star power was in Staples tonight, it was ridiculous.

Beautiful memorial. Kobe was truly a Renaissance man. I'm happy the world had the opportunity to remember and celebrate Kobe and Gigi's life today.

Was watching about 30 minutes on the train into work, had to stop after Rob spoke or else I'd have to turn around and go home.

Been thinking of him and Gigi everyday, and using the Mamba Mentality to become a better person.

Hope to watch the whole ceremony after work.

That was really cathartic to read. The raw, visceral emotions are always the most heartfelt and help us process our personal pain.

This is not needed in this thread on this day.

Huh? We got a tribute thread. I posted it where it needed to be posted.
