Seems disrespectful to call future HoFers sidekicks, not to mention one that we are hoping to re-sign. Wade was a champion without LeBron, and AD has time to be one, as well. With that said, if we're talking synergy together, i don't think anyone tops AD (followed by Kyrie imo). In terms of achievements/accolades as individuals, Wade is at the top (for now).

Wade, he is probably a top 3 SG all time behind MJ and Kobe. I would say in the Heat’s first title that Lebron was the sidekick.

This narrative was pushed by Jay Williams when he called LeBron "Scottie Pippen" to Wade's "MJ." I think many people are confusing 2011 with 2012. In 2011, LeBron was definitely timid and disappeared in the Finals. 2012 was Lebron's first monster year, and Wade was already showing signs of decline.

Anthony Davis if we are talking about greatest compliment also in his prime. Lebron never played with a teammate that was both First team All Nba and First team All defense.

Wade's prime was short lived and Lebron outshines him by a good margin in their championship years. (Wade outshined Lebron in 2011 but they lost)

Anthony Davis has a chance to outshine Lebron this year. I believe he was the MVP of the Denver and Houston Series.

Wade closed a lot of games and got them over the hump many times the year they lost and the first year they won. These were years where without Wade being the Jordan in those moments the Heat don’t win. After that? Wade fell off a cliff/James just took sole control. It was a bit of both at the same time. What’s really not talked about enough is the last 2 years Wade was barely worthy of even being the Pippen. It was a massive decline and ultimately the reason I think Lebron wanted to bounce.

The first two years was definitely more of a wade doing the heavy lifting ala Kobe in those tough WC series meanwhile Shaq/Lebron is getting all the accolades and credit due to having better stats. Wade was the clear closer and without him Miami may have completely crumbled. After that? Almost became a burden.

I also think Bosh sacrificed a lot and was a monster for them, specifically in that second year. He doesn’t get enough credit either.

So you think Wade was better in 2012 than LeBron? Would you characterize LeBron as the "Scottie Pippen" to Wade's "MJ"? Ray Allen had some clutch shots on the Heat and Celtics too, but he was never considered the best player on either of those teams.

Lebron was a sidekick in 2012 when he bodied Durant?

The Heat MVP for the Finals went

1) Lebron
2) Bubble Westbrook in 2012
3) Wade

Wow, no votes for Kyrie even though he saved LeBron in Game 7 vs GSW in 2016?
