yeah, people grief differently, glad the Lakers organization took a pre-emptive measure to postpone the game. Imagine you're a Staples center worker who's seen Kobe day in and day out for 20 years and might've even talk to him... must be devastating. I've never met Kobe and I feel devastated. One love Lakers fam, this is bigger than basketball

I'm being an arm chair psychologist and this might come off wrong but it really sounds like Shaq holds some level of guilt at either how is relationship with Kobe really was or how it's been portrayed over the years.

He shouldn't have to prove and tell people they were brothers because their bond is one all Lakers fans will cherish and remember forever.

Yeah I just saw an interview LO gave to a news channel and was thinking the same thing. I'm hoping the Laker Family reaches out to guys like him

I wish the 2009-2010 team would get together and just sit around a fire drinking beers and sharing Kobe memories.

Lamar is doing great. I mean he’s obviously grieving as well but he’s got a new girlfriend who’s a fitness model and he’s constantly posting on his IG of him putting work in the gym.

He was 50/50 on playing in the Big 3 league before Kobe’s death but now he’s extra motivated and he posted more gym pics with the caption That he’s doing it for Kobe.

Stay Strong Shaq and LBoogie. We can’t lose you guys too

I aint worried about big diesel. If there is one thing this dude had as much as Kobe, its that inner toughness. Could he have worked harder like everyone says? Sure but in terms of strong character and unwavering belief, this dude does not fall short to even Kobe Bean.

Ronny is pretty strong mentally nowadays. Plus he’s got two sons who are playing college ball and are more than likely going to go pro.
Jeron is at UCI and Ron JR. At CSUN.

Losing the GOAT is the absolute worse thing but I know when you keep your kids and family tight it really puts things into perspective. Definitely helps with the healing process.

I’m SO glad that Shaq and Kobe made peace some time ago. Imagine how much worse it would be for Shaq if they had not, especially if Shaq wanted to bury the hatchet but didn’t because of stubborn pride.

I hope Shaq can find some amount of comfort in this thought.

I don't think it was ever as bad as the sensationalist media made out to be, even after Shaq left the games vs his teams there never seemed to be some huge amount of venom between them just competition.

Shaq is a great man. He is totally authentic in his reaction. Wish he would have stayed a Laker.

Aye Shaq and Kobe are family.. I read somewhere that Kobe's final text was to Shaq's son?

Really hard to watch Shaq. Just like West, it was all raw emotion.

These two are hurting big time.

T-Mac’s honestly brought more tears to me than any of them. You can just feel how much Kobe meant to all these people in the most genuine way.
