My girls and I want to thank the millions of people who’ve shown support and love during this horrific time. Thank you for all the prayers. We definitely need them. We are completely devastated by the sudden loss of my adoring husband, Kobe — the amazing father of our children; and my beautiful, sweet Gianna — a loving, thoughtful, and wonderful daughter, and amazing sister to Natalia, Bianka, and Capri.

We are also devastated for the families who lost their loved ones on Sunday, and we share in their grief intimately.

There aren’t enough words to describe our pain right now. I take comfort in knowing that Kobe and Gigi both knew that they were so deeply loved. We were so incredibly blessed to have them in our lives. I wish they were here with us forever. They were our beautiful blessings taken from us too soon.
I’m not sure what our lives hold beyond today, and it’s impossible to imagine life without them. But we wake up each day, trying to keep pushing because Kobe, and our baby girl, Gigi, are shining on us to light the way. Our love for them is endless — and that’s to say, immeasurable. I just wish I could hug them, kiss them and bless them. Have them here with us, forever.
Thank you for sharing your joy, your grief and your support with us. We ask that you grant us the respect and privacy we will need to navigate this new reality.

To honor our Team Mamba family, the Mamba Sports Foundation has set up the MambaOnThree Fund to help support the other families affected by this tragedy. To donate, please go to MambaOnThree.org.
To further Kobe and Gianna’s legacy in youth sports, please visit MambaSportsFoundation.org.

Thank you so much for lifting us up in your prayers, and for loving Kobe, Gigi, Natalia, Bianka, Capri and me. #Mamba #Mambacita #GirlsDad #DaddysGirls #Family ❤️

Oh man, very very sad.

There is just no silver lining that I can find at all in this, we won't forget Mrs. Vanessa Bryant.

Cant imagine emotionally how she is coping with the losses.
May she and others who also are grieving are given the strength needed.

And there won’t be for quite awhile. This isn’t the thing that passes easily. I hope she has a strong support network.

Pain will subside.
Memory will fade.
Sun will come up.
Laughter will return.

Just takes time.

The pain never subsides and the memories never fade... you just learn to cope the best you can. It's different for everyone.

I'm with you, I know they'll do a tribute for Kobe before the Lakers game on Friday, but I really don't think I can bring myself to watch it. It's just too painful right now.

Vanessa is so strong.

I can’t imagine dealing with this much pain.

Really hope they can eventually recover from this.

That was a beautiful and courageous statement by Vanessa. This tragedy has been awful for us fans, but for Vanessa and the girls it’s infinitely more palpable. May they find in time the solace and peace that they need to begin healing. God bless.

Rest in heaven 🙏

I hope people begin to focus on his inner faith and see how it assisted him in becoming the Man he is to us all.
The Man who was in possession of his own heart and mind and directed them with all the Love he could

May your Faith bring you security and Peace. You will never be forsaken by any of Kobe's millions of fans

*Some mystic Christians say Law or Love instead of Lord. Law being nature's natural unbreakable Laws
of the mind and body. Love in Love out and the opposite being true.
Psalm 27
Quote:

27:1 The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

27:2 When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.

27:3 Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.

27:4 One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.

27:5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.

27:6 And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.

Kobe please look over your mom right now and guide her to heal. I don't know how you left things but seeing her face today is beyond heartbreaking.

This is why I'm almost afraid to turn the tv on tonight. There are just some things that are hard to see.

Much love to Vanessa and the girls. I also hope they have a strong support network. Millions and millions around the entire planet have shown such love for Kobe and Gigi, and I've no doubt fans world wide have had this family in their hearts and their prayers. What I hope for most is that the right balance is there, respecting their privacy, but alongside that, those closest to Kobe are keeping in touch with Vanessa and the kids, finding ways to be there for them.

On a side note - That painted court in Manila, with Gigi reaching up to hug Kobe. Man did that bring tears. What a beautiful mural. It brings pain but it also brings solace. Remembering Kobe like this, for who he really was, is the best thing we can do for them.
