Walked into a rehearsal for one of the tribute songs for tonight’s Lakers game at Staples Center, and...wow. Don’t want to spoil the specifics, but it’s clear the organization will be doing this powerful night right.

I’m about to head to Staples in a bit. I’m increasingly anxious with each passing moment. I actually stopped on my way home and got my car washed just to calm down a bit (and not disgrace Kobe’s memory with my ridiculously in need of a car wash car).

I expect an early lead built on the emotion. Then a letdown for a bit, then a final push and win.

It is going to be an unbelievably emotional evening.

Hopefully Portland knows their role tonight.

For me, the game is almost an afterthought. I expect to bawl my eyes out. Will probably have a drink or two to drown my sorrow. Whether they play bad or inspired, win or lose, I'll just be thinking about Kobe tonight.

I expect a win, but I don't expect to be happy about it.

I’m anxious to see the team doing something that is more normal for them. When my dad died I still had to go to school, take care of the animals and be a dad to my 5 yo sister. Going back to my normal routine helped, hopefully it will help our players to do the same.

Only time I don't care whether we win or not.

Only thing that matters is how they pay tribute to Kobe. So far been disappointed with how they've handled it.

When he's motivated he's fantastic, the problem is mental. He's not a leader, he's best when he can get on the court and just ball.

Good to see him back if only for just this game. I don't think he'll be fully back until he accepts he'll never be the leader of a basketball team though
