- Wing Defender?
- 3 Point Sniper?
- 2nd Playmaker
- Closer?
In terms of stats, Lakers are ranked in the bottom on 2 categories: free throw % (26th) and turnovers (20th).
Another thing for a team with a good big man rotation, we're only ranked (12th) in rebounds. _________________ |

1. A Giannis defender
2. A second playmaker who can create his own shot if necessary |

A Kobe/Wade/Kyrie type for the final 3 minutes.
So a playmaker/shot-taker who can get to the line and make free throws.
Tough to find though. _________________ ππ π π π #18!!! |

Closer, shot creator.
5 seconds left on the shot clock, Lakers down 1, who do you want taking the last shot on this current team? LeBron? AD? Kuz? Green? Who? _________________ The butter is getting hard. |

I don't think they are fixing all of that by the dead line, I could be wrong though. |

I believe AD also needs to go full beast. He gets his numbers but I always feel like he lets the opponents off the hook. I still feel he can be more dominant on offense. I truly believe he needs to because Lebron cant carry that load versus the big teams. |

No such thing exists in this league. I can think of two players in the league with the physical ability to even have a chance, and we have both of them. |

Wade can just come out of retirement, but he's likely not even in shape.
Kemba or Butler would've probably been a good addition if Lakers gone after them last summer. _________________ Tacos |

How many clutch shots and game winners has AD made in his career? I think for now LeBron but would like to see another player. One of the reasons Clippers are dangerous in the playoffs, they have 3 players that can create and close games in Kawhi, PG, and Lou. _________________ Tacos |

I understand that. But now? We have limited trade assets and we're not going those caliber players in return. Even getting good versions of that archetype is tough. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

1. Playmaker who can shoot - Collison
2. Wing Defender who can shoot league average - Iggy
AD isn't the same dominant player when he doesn't have a playmaker next to him. I hate to say this but Rondo makes the game tougher on AD. The spacing becomes an issue for Davis and teams are able to double team. AD still isn't great at finding the open man off a double yet. Collison would help set AD up to score while also creating the best possible spacing for AD to dominate inside. |

Then it's not getting fixed anytime soon, let alone the trade deadline. _________________ ππ π π π #18!!! |

I truly believe he needs to because Lebron cant carry that load versus the big teams. | All this, including the AD part. Lebron is going to wear himself out if AD doesn't take the obligation to go full beast and full leader. He needs to take a page out of Shaq's book and Lebron will definitely be on board actually happy to see it I bet. Lebron needs to be able to not feel all the pressure, to sit down some, to coast a little in games where AD is clearly the dominant force. Lebron needs some mental relief too. There's inherent legend pressure on him in LA. And he has come up short late in games. If AD was RELIABLY the dominant 4th quarter scorer of the gimme the ball type, getting FTs, Lebron could be freer.
But yeah 2nd play maker, wing defender, in that order. |

Agree.
Brian Shaw was a better play maker than AD. _________________ ππ π π π #18!!! |

This is a tough tough choice. But I'm gonna go with our offensive system.
If we wanna win the chip it needs to change.
Look at our assist distribution. LBJ at 10.7. Rondo 5.5. David at 3.3. Nobody else above 2.
Outside of Magic Johnson's Lakers, NOBODY has won with an assist distribution like that. Including NONE of LBJ's championship teams.
We need more player and ball movement. Of course a wing 2 way player would be great. But if we still ran a similar system, it would be tough to win it all. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you betterβ |
