Hey everyone, I was the last person that was at LA Live before they had the clean up crew come through and I'm also interviewed briefly at the end of this video clip http://4.nbcla.com/OhOqlLE

Funny enough, the Kobe chants at the beginning of the video are of when I was holding the piece up and showing it to the crowd...it was crazy -- countless people took pics with me and/or the piece throughout the day.

So sad, so tragic and honestly it still doesn't feel real.

why do they want to get rid of the memorial site in front of Staples so quickly? why not leave it there for the remaining season. they can tell people not to bring more stuff in, but leave whatever's there for fans to see. i believe Clippers is behind the removal, Ballmer and Doc Rivers must of took psych class of how to do every little thing to piss off Laker fan base.

Resist beliefs like that

I would guess the City had to keep it somewhat protected and all of the original flowers had to be removed... 2/24 will become an official California Holiday...

They did mulch all the flowers and distribute them around Staples grounds etc
