NBA's No. 1 playoff lineup by plus/minus is the Lakers' usual starting five (LeBron, KCP, Danny, AD, JaVale), which is +39 in 89 minutes.

NBA's No. 2 playoff lineup by plus/minus is the Lakers' new starting five (LeBron, KCP, Danny, Markieff, AD), which is +30 in only 30 minutes.

How good has this guy been for the Lakers?

Very very good pickup.

Hopefully he can keep it up. Which he should. He was a knock down shooter fo the Pistons this year. Will be interesting to see how how much he gets on the free agent market.

Please let him continue starting and playing. We're so much better with him instead of JaVale/Dwight next to Lebron/AD.

I’m just going to pretend that it was Morris that we got back in the Svi trade. Is that okay? 😂

I think Vogel should consider starting Morris at he 5 against either Den or LAC. They technically don't go fully small with the shot blocking AD in there, so I think we might be able to get away with it.

Would absolutely like him back next year. But he'll cost more than the minimum. He changed the complexion of this team by allowing us to go with a floor spacing big.

I think we should for sure against the LAC. Their strategy has basically been to pack the paint like crazy and dare us to make open shots, and neither Javale or Dwight is enough of a scoring threat to punish them inside like Jokic is.

For DEN, not so sure. I feel like you might actually be better off with more Dwight against Jokic, but AD's length could also hold up fairly well - so maybe you play AD at the 5 on Jokic and put Morris up against Milsap or whoever.

This guy gonna be very valuable to this Lakers team. He adds quite a bit of dynamics.

He's almost as important as a second initiator. He adds so much flexibility to the roster - small ball C, Kuz can move down to SF, 5-out offense, etc.

LAC - We sat Dwight for Morris to start the fourth quarter of the game back in March. So I suspect we'll see a lot of small ball if we play them.

DEN - We actually started Dwight in the second half against the Nuggets in the win before the All Star break.

So I guess we know which team Dwight is pulling for to go up against in the next series.

Always cracks me up the Lakers got him for peanuts while the Clippers gave up a 1st round pick for his twin brother.

Markieff definitely is a better fit for the lakers, not just his skill set and positions he can cover, but he fits our culture wonderfully.

Him, Dwight and Rondo just makes our team tougher

We have signed the good Morris. How much money can the Lakers offer him to resign without using the MLE?

Markieff knows the role he has to play for his team. Marcus however thinks he’s supposed to be an All-Star so he tries to play like a 3rd banana.

And a 1st Round pick swap in 2021, and Harkless, and Jerome Robinson!

Nice combination of toughness and borderline dirtiness

No 1 should be surprised that Kieff is a difference maker, his brother is more of a guy who puts up the nice stats but Kieff is a better Impact player.

Speaking of defense, he seems to do a great job of not jumping and fouling when his man attacks. And let's AD or D39 try to block from behind. Actually most of our players do that pretty well.

Markieff Morris has made 15 of the 34 3’s he’s attempted in the postseason, including 7 of his last 8, for a strong 44.1%. I asked him what’s helped him get into a rhythm, and he said “repetition,” adding that he shot 40% in Detroit this season (and he’s right: 39.7%).
