They're ghosts right now. But don't worry, they'll be back (with gifts) after the next loss to gloat about how it was a huge mistake to trade the young core for AD. Yeah.

Can they not care anymore about the standings from here on and Lebron and AD should rest or just take it easy when they are playing, especially against bottom dwellers?

I think they just need to make a statement game against the Flippers and then take it easy after that. Is the #1 seeding really that important?

I mean, do you not think having Game 7 on your home floor is important, or....?

Wes Matthews was a laker?? wth how did I miss that?

Wesley Johnson I'm tired okay

Wes Matthews dad, Wesley Matthews, was a Laker back in the Showtime era so, technically, you’re correct

They need to take care of the Clips Sunday, then rest LBJ and AD in the 4th quarter for the rest of the season.

"Just move on bro!" He died tragically basically a month ago, was a Laker for 20 years. How ones understanding can be so poor is beyond me.

And why in the heck was that all that FO could slap together and out on the court? I don’t get.

Just like the season where the Lakers won only 17 games with Kobe. They couldn’t do any better?

It felt like it was always boom or bust with them. We either had a championship contender/favorite roster or we had Kobe surrounded by a cast of scrubs.

This is great. We're on the road to redemption, and on the road to making Kobe and Gianna proud. I am just ecstatic at the opportunity we've been afforded, and we're blessed to be fans of the greatest franchise in the history of sports.

Playoffs. Certainly has a good sound to it and makes the day a bit brighter just thinking about it.

Reveals a lot that it means so much. I took for granted all the franchise success for a longtime as a fan. Every season was just assumed as a playoff season because quite frankly it just was.

Going to be a hell of a playoff battle with the quality of the teams lining up.
One goal reached now on to the next plateau. Let’s go Lakers.

It's crazy to think that this year we have already won the same number of games as we did the entire 2 first years of the drought.

Put it in perspective though. One plan was under a tank and rebuild plan, the other a win now plan.

Completely different rosters and expectations. And accordingly... results.

Or this sorry excuse of a roster. Kobe's reaction is always priceless.

Such a great response by Kobe. The man was always acted like the adult in the room even when he was 18yrs old.

Singularity of purpose may be one of his more important qualities as a player. Nothing but winning!

I can sense that mamba mentality instilled in our guys right now. Time for fun and games is over. Lets bring that trophy home!

I'm not gonna mention the two players with the contracts that we all hate.

Hint: One of them is still in our salary books

Omg I almost forgot about Deng

We weren't that far from trading Kobe to Chicago in a package deal including Deng, which would of been one of the worst trades in the history of the league. Thank goodness that never happened.

The Lakers should never go 6 years without making the playoffs.

Thankfully Jeanie made the big move to dump Jim-Chak and it has been mostly roses ever since.
