If that's the case. Maybe blame the author of the article. It's misleading.

I didnt think so. “Nothing to see here. Carry on.”

Yet he couldn’t resist heaping praise on himself.

How long have you been a Lakers fan? Magic. Shaq. Kobe. Come on. These guys loved doing that because they are the best.

For real. All the greats had a huge ego and can come across narcissistic. People act like Lebron is the only one like that. And there’s nothing wrong with it!!!!

Magic, Shaq, Kobe, Lebron have all done or said things at times that made me think “what a self-absorbed sh*t haha” but it doesn’t matter because they were on my team. I wanted them to win for us...just like I want Lebron to do that for us now.

Can’t bash Lebron for things past Laker players have been guilty of too...

Remember recently when people were debating Jordan or Lebron and Kobe interjected on twitter, adding his name to the mix? It’s just part of being GREAT.

That is why I was such a big Duncan fan, and Dirk to a lesser extent. They won and let the world tell them how great they were instead of them telling the world. It takes more character to be humble than to show bravado and when you fail, the fall is a lot harder when it follows bragging. I have always been a fan of Lebron’s play and admire his philanthropic efforts but the less that I see him between games the better.

Yup. Lebron never been able to [obscenity deleted - CL]

He came here because we potentially had 3 max slots + a very very solid young core + his family wanted to live in the best city in the States + it was the best place to grow his brand. Now he’s lying again. Typical LBJ And why I’ll personally never like him as a person. I can smell a fake ass (bleep) from a mile away. Here’s to hoping he wins us a ring though.

U got google alerts in anything anti-Bron? I don’t get it. Accept that some of us just don’t like his antics. Laker or not. Just play the game [obscenity deleted -CL]. Kind of like the other superstar on our team does..or the other 2 across the locker room do. Play quiet play nice.

You want him to Shut up and dribble? Anything else master?

Where were you when PG13 did a 3 part ESPN documentary announcing his decision to stay in OKC?

You want to play this game? You’re going to lose. Lebron is the biggest drama queen EVER.

Shutting up and dribbling has nothing to do with what me or others are saying. Stop making every small milestone about yourself. Stop gloating. You’d never hear (bleep) like this from other guys. It’s ridiculous.

Not sure why LBJ has you worked up. I was not a fan of his until he joined the Lakers. The two guys you mention declined to pick up the Lakers mantle. Screw them.

Ecstatic we got the win.
And I appreciate LBJ stopping our playoff drought.

But honestly, this quote comes off weird to me too. I think it's because you wouldn't hear a quote like this from Kobe unless we just won a chip.
Lakers are about chips. Not playoffs.

I do the same thing and have to check myself but Lebron can’t be compared to Kobe. When I heard his comment about refusing to play if there were no fans I first thought that Kobe would play on a deserted island if he had to. But that isn’t fair to Lebron.

I just saw this as LeBron using his weight to influence the league not to do this.

Still no slowing for my guy #LBJ. His performance against the bucks is to tell everyone that he still the king. He's not stepping down yet. Giannis could wait a little bit.

I'm sure his kids going to school here and his Hollywood aspirations played into it, but it's all about the playoffs at this point. We're in, so let's go! April can't get here fast enough for me.
