Hope this just an experiment to get some public feedback. Can't believe it took them four years to come up with that. Oh well, at least we're keeping the colors.

The part that really makes me nervous is it looks like it could be a helmet logo as well.

Hopefully this is a fake rumor. I can't imaging the Rams moving to that logo. Maybe that's the logo for the statium workers, sort of a mashup of logos.

As a only mildly related side story, I heard a presentation from the president of the Arizona Diamondbacks about when they decided to change their jerseys and their logos. There was a huge negative reaction, and they went through a process of meeting with season ticket holders, fans via social media, and more. He told the story of one very vocal woman...invited her into the office and said, listen, we're changing the logo, there is nothing that's going to stop that, but I've seen your complaints online and I want you to choose which logo/jersey we're going to go with! She was, of course, flabbergasted, they had the one they were planning, and a handful of other mock-ups. She luckily (or not) picked the real one, and became a huge supporter of the new logo because of that. He also talked reached out to a season ticket holder who said he'd never wear or buy the new logo/jersey, and said, "If we make the world series this year, I want you to join me at a press conference where you wear the new logo." The guy said, yeah, right, we aren't making the world series this year...that year they made the WS, he held a press conference and turned it into a big win. Super smart the way they handled that in AZ.

Hopefully, they just leaked this to gauge public reaction, are seeing the backlash, and will not move forward with this.
