Here's hoping they all test negative. Stay healthy Lakers! All of you on LG as well. |

Clips should probably get tested as well. Markieff and Marcus live together. |

lol remember Lebron and his elaborate handshakes that he comes up with? He shakes just about everyone's hand at these games. As the most popular guy in the NBA he's probably been the most exposed on our team. _________________ Lakers. Built different. |

The chain reaction is crazy. Whoever is positive, now they have to trace their steps and have all their friends and family tested. Whoever is positive among those, will then have to trace their steps, and so and so on.... |

And the crazy thing is can you imagine how many people a NBA player has contact with. Especially if they go to clubs and parties too. |

The unfortunate reality is it’s already everywhere. There are confirmed cases all around each one of us and who knows how many of us and the people we know are like those Nets players.
The original thoughts were that if you hadn’t traveled abroad and you weren’t in contact with people who had, you should be fine. But with these stories of it not showing symptoms for 1-2 weeks and all of these seemingly healthy people testing positive, it just seems inevitable that we have all been exposed already without realizing it.
Thankfully, I don’t know anyone who seems to be sick right now and I haven’t heard of anything from anyone I know. Hopefully that means most people have been able to live life normally without being infected, but I’m a little worried that the symptoms are about to start showing for a lot of people and things are about to get crazy. |

With all the people that post here some of us on the forum are going to have it. Would be interesting to hear from the people that do. |

There is no upside in reporting your corona status. It is a scarlett letter if you do and you will be shunned. Think about that when you look at the reported numbers... |

Quote: | Sources: A majority of the Lakers players were tested at 9 a.m. for the coronavirus at the practice facility. The doctor on site did testing with like this Q-tip through the nose, has to touch throat and twist it. Took about 10 seconds. Lakers hope to get results by Friday. |

We should be shunning everyone right now. People should be acting like they have it and like everyone around them has it which means keeping six feet of social distance and all the other things that prevent transmission. I think the government is going to have to lock everyone and everything down for 2-3 weeks if people don't take this seriously. |

People with compromised immune systems (like those receiving cancer treatment) tend to be more likely to contract viruses.
Beyond that, super-fit people don't have any special ability to ward off the virus. So a Kevin Durant or triathlete is as likely to contract the virus as a couch potato. |

Yes! I now have something in common with super athletes
The one thing they will have is a stronger immune system to survive after contracting the virus |
