at least with laker fans. I lost total respect for the man but on the bright side I think his gesture officially made this a true rivary.

Clippers were on a big run and Elton scored/dunked on us and ran by the bench and directed a time out towrads Phil Jackson. To be fair though Kobe did elbow him earlier in the chest though but yeah that was low class. I guess all these years of being in the shadow of the Lakers he has some animosity towards us.

Elton was raping us last night, he had a right to talk (bleep) to the Lakers. The Lakers should of done sumthin about it. (bleep) being classy when you owning a team on National TV.

Shoot, who cares man? Kobe's made a couple of triumphant gestures.

I agree it's becoming a legit rivalry (finally).

But EB being low-class cuz he got pumped about a good game?

You'll need more evidence than that, counsilor.

he was just telling Phil, as a coach, you actually have to use time outs when you are getting your ass handed to you.

I don't have a problem with what Elton did. You'd like to think most coaches would call a timeout after 7-8 consecutive points instead of 15 or 16.

Actually for this to be a rivalry, the Clippers need to win something...ANYTHING! So much for the supposed class act.

The Lakers couldn't even call time out's last night without turning the ball over. That was one of the most embarrassing games in a long time...well since the Sactown fiasco at least.

how do u let a team go on a 13-0 run before calling time out?

phil is an idiot sometimes. his stupid philosophy of letting players figure it out doesn't work because this team is filled retards.

There must be very few NBA players you have respect for then, including a good number of the current & former Lakers.

Don't let the timeout gesture be more than it is - something every player in every sport has done at one time or another. I'm not saying I agree with it, but don't lose 'total' respect for EB because of it either. He seems like an otherwise good guy.

Legit rivalry? We are 20-7 against them....
What EB did was low class. I understand if he did it with the SPurs, Mavs, Suns. But the Lakers are a 500 team. They lose every other game. You don't pump your chest when you are beating a 500 team. I guess they always will live in ous shadows, even when they are the better team.

It was classless, but then when you've been a loser for your entire pro career, why would you show any class when the ball starts bouncing your way?

I love it when perennial losers go to the chest thumping and premature celebration, because usually they're doing it at a railroad crossing and when the oncoming train hits them it takes them 5 years to realize wtf happened to them.

Of course, when you're a part of a dominating dynasty like the Clippers, you have the right to let everybody know you da man. Good job Elton!

Who cares of Elton.

He is having a good year.

Finally he will smell the postseason after 100 years of lottery.

His team will probably be fifth in the final west standings and will be swept by the Spurs* .

The act of EB was disgusting and it should be a lesson to the Scrubs. We meet them again in April and Kobe will not forget what he did but too bad only him has a killer-instinct. What happened to the "cough" so called new yorker "cough". The scrubs should commit a flagrant to any of the star player on the team to send them a mesage.

I love how all these Elton bandwagon fans are saying "It's ok".

What he did was low-class. He was rubbing it in our 9-time championship coaches face. Elton has never won sh**, he doesn't have a pass for those kind of antics.

It's not freaking OK. Remember the Laker came to LA first then the Clips followed. They should go back to San DIego but it's business no matter what we lose or not the management still have their profit. It sucks.

I love watching overrated players get pumped. It's so funny. This probably tops Dirk Nowitski's "tongue hanging out" when his team is rolling or Bibby's "yell and penquin walk" when the Kings one a game in MARCH.

It makes it all the more worthwhile when you know these overrated players, will never smell the sweet aroma of a title.

Losers.
