I know we're grasping at straws here, but anyone interested? They don't want to trade him to an east coast team and say the Spurs are interested. _________________ Hope for the best. Prepare for the worst. |

If the Spurs are indeed interestd then I'd say don't get your hopes up because he'd definitely go there to try to pick up a ring. That ones a no brainer on his part.
a)accept a temporary gig with the Lakers only to get dumped when you're older and less marketable in less than two seasons? or
b) Latch on to the Spurs and have a shot at a ring this season? _________________ I'm On point, On task, On message, and Off drugs. A Streetwise Smart Bomb, Out of rehab and In denial. ^ on the other hand, Thomas has complained because of his limited role. He won't be getting much playing time as a Spur. He would as a laker and who knows, if he plays well, he might earn a contract extension with the lakers or some other team off of that. |

Vince Carter is doing everything he can to bring him to the Nets but Thomas still has bad feelings toward the Nets after getting injured by KMart. _________________ Hope for the best. Prepare for the worst. |

Yeah, It's pretty brutal. It happened at some track meet in Europe, Finland I believe, about two years ago. I use to have a full size vid of it, but it was lost in a hard drive crash last year so this little gif is all that I've got left. Gives new meaning to "Look Where You're Going!" Bet she'll never make that mistake again! _________________ I'm On point, On task, On message, and Off drugs. A Streetwise Smart Bomb, Out of rehab and In denial. How can a guy with Tim's frame be that horrible on the boards? The low shooting numbers are a fluke, and they'll go back up once he gets in the swing on things. I'll admit I like the Thomas pickup better than Penny, but is that saying anything? If Phil could ever get him back to at least the 5 rpg mark he was at years ago (30mpg?), they may have something, but otherwise it is a waste of a cheap contract. |

At this point that is all we can do.

Sure, what is the harm in another 6-10 SF with no defense? At least the guy can shoot 3s.

They cannot, in fact, trade him at all. Deadline passed. They can waive him and hope he doesn't sign with an EC team. |

God, I forgot this guy existed. The Knicks have become the place where underperforming stiffs with horrendous contracts go to die. It's like they were sent from heaven to make the rest of the league's teams feel better about themselves (at least we're not the Knicks). What a pathetic organization. |

I'd try and pick him up if he gets waived.
Tim Thomas was #2 High School Player in the country when he was a senior. But he decided to go to college instead of the NBA.
Guess who was #1?
Our very own Kobe Bryant. |

With Cleamons no longer here, assuming Jim Jackson gets waived I rather have him. JJ's already 35 though but can probably do for us what McKie was supposed to. Thomas won't get much time as Devean's backup anyway because Phil won't play guys that don't contribute at both ends unless he's forced to play that kind of player. |

We are at the point where we need a shot in the arm, especially one that isn't affraid to be aggressive. Now Thomas can be sometimie like Odom, but I think he would be a very good bench player that when Kobe is not in the game will attempt to take over, so we aren't looking as lost. So I would definatley give him a look for at least the rest of the season. _________________ "Kobe Bryant is an absolute nightmare.
