Last night...I didn't record it nor go on LG during the game....we won! Same thing happened games 1 and 2! do you guys have any superstitions? i suggest that all of us do the same thing we did during last night's game to be safe

If I listen to the game on radio, we ALWAYS lose. ALWAYS.

If I look at the updates online or through my cell phone, we lose like 90% of the time.

And I established a new ritual yesterday: I used to drink a beer per game. But when I did it during the game in games 3 & 4, we lost. So yesterday I said I would wait until the game was over. So now, I have to wait until it's over (or in garbage time in the 4th like yesterday) to drink my victory beer. Man it tasted good last night!

Me and my brother believe that if you wear any Laker gear on game day we will lose. It has happened so many times!! On Easter this year we played the Spurs...both my brother and father had Laker gear on.

As we all know we lost....big!

The only time we wear Laker gear on game days is when we are actually going to the game. We're in NY so this is not too often.

Nice examples:

Went to the Knick game this year - Lakers head to toe...we won

Cleveland last year - Again Lakers head to toe...we snapped there huge home winning streak.

This just came up. After we got spanked on Saturday my gf asked me if I'd been wearing my shirt--that special one I always wear when I watch a game. Regrettably I told her no. Yesterday she asked me if I was wearing my shirt and this time I made sure I was. Wore it all day at work and while I watched the game. Of course she made it a point to remind me how she is always right. Me, I can't argue with that valuable lesson learned. Then again, I'm hopelessly in love.

I never eat during games. I think eating during games means that im not relaxed and focused and so the Lakers arent relaxed and focus.

For big games, I always wear my lucky Lakers t-shirt from the 87-88 season.

This is my only one I have. But OH!...I hate it when the announcers, whether it's Stu or Joel mentioning on the air how a Laker player or the team in general has made 8 free throws in a row or such and Pau goes up and shoots and immediately they clank one.

I just want to go, "why did you go bring that up and jinx them?!"

Even when Chick did that I didn't like it.

Happens on the national broadcasts too.

I also like to go "brick" when other team shoots a free throw.

Bye.

My wife and I both wear our Lakers sweaters. We put our daughter's Kobe jersey on her. We drink a Stone brew, and we eat purple and gold M&Ms I get in bulk at the local chocolate store.

When the game is on multiple channels I watch the local broadcast always. If we start losing I wait till 8 min mark and switch to the national telecast. Starting last season, I started watching big games at BJ's in burbank. The Lakers have won EVERY game I have watched there. I mean its crazy!! I hate bj's food and service but its a small price to pay for Lakers w's. We are 11-0. I have many more but that's all I'm willing to disclose.

It's a tight game, say, the last 1:00 or 1:31 or 0:52.
Tense - the jaw clenches - "WTF is going to happen?"

You click off the TV. You just turn it off. Vaporize the situation.

I watch the game recorded, while watching updates online live. If they start to suck, I stop watching the game and wait for them to do better again or the score is closer on the updates. This helps the ulcer, especially on away games. I don't have to hear the opposing fans cheering or any beat la chants.
