Let's hope the Pelicans make a run

a 1-8 Lakers/Pels first round would be epic

Since that's what the media wants and what Silver designed the bubble to lead to, I'd prefer not. But if it did happen, we swept them during the regular season, so I think it would be fairly anticlimactic. Still, the Grizz would be the easiest opponent, and we need that in the first round with how rusty we look right now.

Blazers would be...yikes. They match up well with us, it seems, compared to Pels who don't have an elite guard to take our back court apart.

Are you trying to say Lonzo isn’t elite?

I watch the Pels anyways since I like Ingram and Hart, and I'm interested in Zion's development
I'd just be fun to watch the Lakers/Pels in round 1
not to mention the media would play up the whole AD thing
I'd expect the Lakers to win easily, but it'd still be interesting to watch

from 3-8 seeds, every Team have to play Lakers an Clippers. The only way they can avoid one of the teams is by Bringing Blazers to playoffs. hence I believe every team will do their best to make it happen.

If the Blazers can beat the Lakers... then they can beat the teams that are supposedly losing on purpose to the Blazers.

Don't get the logic in that conspiracy theory.

Blazers can trouble Lakers if they get hot. for other teams, its easy to beat Blazers than beating lakers.

Dame scares me but the lack of wing defense has me confident.

This is the type of team Bron feasts on and historically Nurk has never really given AD trouble.

They beat a team without Nurkic and Collins.

I'm not sure a full Blazers team is worth losing on purpose to keep them in the playoffs.

You want the Grizzlies to make it in.

Even the Pelicans might be trouble if Zion plays. And look at the Suns right now!

Zion can score but he's a walking net negative on defense, veteran teams will feast on the Pels.

Looks like the top teams will let the Blazers win

We should return the favor and let OKC win

I'm getting so sick of national sports media. Every time the Lakers win its not impressive. Every time we lose its the end of the world. Clippers lose to a (bleep) suns team? Crickets. At what point did we just stop taking things at face value?

It's always the same. Sometimes I put some video to hear while I'm doing other things but I'm getting tired of it.

I guess the point where you think that the Suns are a (bleep) team. They are the top team in the West in this tournament.

3 games but that's besides the point. There is an annoying inconsistency in how the lakers get covered vs how the clippers get covered. I can see how you're not bothered by it being a clippers fan.

Per Winters

Ben Simmons suffered a subluxation of the left patella (knee cap) in yesterday's game, MRI confirms.

He is OUT for tomorrow's game against the Magic.

Treatment options are currently being considered.

Wow, 140 pts by the Kings! Doesn't the Pelicans backcourt is not supposed to be 'elite' defensively? 65pts combined by Fox & Bodjan! LOL
