The media hype for this kid in the last 48 hours were borderline embarrassing.

he was surpassing Larry Bird and Pete Maravich

Yeah, against the Lakers in the 2 games this season he's 5-20 overall and 2-11 from 3. I think he's improved clearly since that early in the season but I believe the Lakers will do a much better job especially considering there will not be a single double team necessary so everyone can just focus on not leaving the shooters open.

Dudes a really good rookie but yeah, def. getting a little comical with some of the takes i've been hearing.

Could he be Jamal Murray in four years?

Not even Jamal Murray's mom in 2016 thought he'd be THIS Jamal Murray in 4 years

But yeah, hard to discount these young guys' development curves after seeing players who were even called busts early on break out later like Murray and BI. They're outliers for sure, though. I randomly had this crazy comparison come to mind for Murray actually, which actually might not be THAT crazy, just in the sense of how he came into the league and grew into what he is now. Kobe, with Jokic slowly ceding offensive reigns to him like Shaq did? I am NOT saying they're equal players, but the way the players and their teams gradually broke through is oddly similar.

Rooting for the Celtics is a capital offense. Turn in your Laker pass to a moderator and await sentencing.

Game's done. Now the refs can dish out extra fouls on the Celtics to avoid suspicion

Ok well

I am in the process of baking so I will probably miss the end but Miami I’m talking to you; now is the time to kill their spirit with the furious come back and win.

Heat allowed the Celtics to get 41 points in the 3rd?!

So much for their banger defense...

Just hope the Lakers are learning something. Don’t let a downed team back up.

No matter what the Lakers need to take care of business tomorrow.

Theis actually did well against the Lakers on defense being able to play straight up on AD and did well guarding the pick n roll on Bron in the regular season. Dwight was unplayable against the Celtics. Craziest thing is that Tatum imo was the best player to guard AD this whole season in the regular season and playoffs.

I think they're probably a bit tired. They've had to come back from a lot of defecits

Very true. Murray turning into Steph Curry in these playoffs has been an eye opener.

I meant in terms of facing Miami. If Theis could do that, Dwight/AD can kill the Heat on the inside
