That was dumb. He should get couple of games |
“A couple games”? No way the NBA suspends the MVP more then the one remaining game. One he likely would have sat out anyways.
In looking up the story, I saw he has multiple techs and suspensions for losing his cool. Had not realized he had such a track record. At some point could become an issue. These playoffs.... no way! |
If Moe did it, he would have gotten 4-8 games. Since Giannis did it, 1 game is my guess. _________________ “You have to dance beautifully in the box that you are comfortable dancing in.” - Kobe Bryant |

I think we should give JR a run at Dame. He’s a pesky defender, who’s has fouls to give, and nothing to lose. _________________ “You have to dance beautifully in the box that you are comfortable dancing in.” - Kobe Bryant |

BUBBLE NEWS - LAKERS AWAITING FAMILY IN THE BUBBLE
Per Goon
Kyle Kuzma on awaiting the arrival of player guests: “Can’t wait. Can’t wait.” Says that the NBA has done a great job overall, but that the players are only human and want to be around the people they love.
https://twitter.com/kylegoon/status/1293651106606841856?s=21
Markieff Morris says he doesn’t imagine that his three-year old daughter will be able to stay in the bubble for the length of the Lakers’ run. Said he knows she’s going to “go crazy” in quarantine, but she’d also do anything to see her dad.

Correct. Giannis Zidane got 1 game

But I still think we'll beat them in the first round in 6 games or less. What worries me is the wear and tear and if that catches up to us by the Conference and NBA finals.
Hopefully CP3 gets revenge on his ex team and we get OKC in the 2nd round. I'd prefer to play them instead of HOU. |
They were off for months. There's no "wear and tear" factor in any of this. _________________ “Christ did not die to forgive sinners who go on treasuring anything above seeing and savoring God. And people who would be happy in heaven if Christ were not there, will not be there."

Clippers looked solid last night. I like Kawhi, but I'm not ready for the narratives that will come out of a possible Clippers win. |

The thing with the clippers is they are able to blow teams out frequently so it looks really good optically.
The Lakers are a grind team that knows how to close games, but don’t shoot well enough or have the roster to really win by large margins.
Fortunately the Lakers have seemed to figure out how to stay close to the Clippers and ultimately rely on Lebron to close it out, as evidenced by the last 2 meetings.
It’s really what it comes down to. In a potential series, can the Lakers stay close up until the final 5 min. Obviously Lebron and AD won’t be sitting for too long, but that would be the series. Stay close with the deeper and more talented clippers roster and rely on 2 top 5 players showing why they are 2 of the top 5. |

He makes that team more dynamic. Smart move by Malone.
Vogel may end doing the same with Kuzma over JaVale. Even if Kuzma doesn’t start, imo he is going to get 30+ starter minutes as he continues to elevate his game. |

I don’t know if the Spurs can still mathematically make it but I love how they aren’t going down without a fight. |

Agree with that 100%. Whether Kuzma starts or comes off the bench he needs to be right up there with Davis and Lebron in minutes played as long as he keeps playing like he has in the bubble thus far.
Outside of the few teams with actual big physical centers i'm hoping Vogel limits JaVales minutes as much as possible during the Playoffs. |
