Vescey mentioned same thing 2 days before deadline.I really think a package of mihm/dg/cook for boozer would have gotten it done if buss was so set on kg this summer. We also could have gotten kmart for that as well.Again everything is on hold til summer where I think you'll see us make a big splash (tmac,kg) or couple minor ones booz and lewis or maybe make run at harrington. |

I like Lewis with KB8. Athleticism, range, can finish around the hoop.
Lewis, a big man (Boozer, if he proves his health) and an MLE PG are all we need.
Say adios to Mihm, Lakers will go with Kwame and Bynnum at the 5 next year. If serious 3pt range is added for LO (Rashard?), also say adios to Cook.
All just my conjecture and opinion. _________________ You tryin' to say Jesus Christ can't hit a curveball? |

The newspaper report didn't, it was brought up by posters here. I would trade Mihm for Boozer, he would bring a better interior game offensively. And if Mihm is kept past next season, he will be a backup to Bynum.
As for ending contracts, the Lakers are losing some, but will have others. Depending on reports, Kwame could be one of those. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

Kwame's starting job would go to Boozer. The Jazz would have an ending contract in McKie. Kwame's committment is shorter. Boozer's long-term deal would be off the books. |
I would give it literally three games before Jerry Sloan would run on the court and choke Kwame. Or put him in a sleeper hold or Million Dollar Dream. No way he coaches Kwame. |
Kwame is no worse than Ostertag, and Sloan is still putting up with that guy. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |
