I wonder if the Raptors won last year BECAUSE of Leonard or if he was pretty much interchangeable with any other all-star wing. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:
I have always had a admiration for the Raptors for some reason even though there fans are bitter towards the Lakers, I have always appreciated the Raptors culture and how hard they play so I will definitely root for them if we can’t get the title.

I am not following them close this year. Who did they replace Kawhi with?
OG Anunoby took over his starting job.
Plus with Toronto they just had a great team with or without him. Kawhi was just that absolute perfect late game killer that put them over the top in most close games.
You seen this season how well they not only played overall but especially against a team like the Bucks where Kawhi got a huge amount of credit last season which was warranted but not to the extent the media made it out to be imo. They are still a nightmare matchup for that team and Giannis along with anyone else that has to face them in the Playoffs. There a team that will absolutely come to play every minute so you can't take them lightly at all.
I'm hoping to see the conference finals of Lakers vs. Clippers and the Bucks vs Raptors. I still believe these 4 teams are well above the 2nd tier teams even though it's a bit more of a question mark since the resume.
I wouldn't be shocked to see any of those 4 teams win it at all. I have to admit the Raptors winning it would be about as good as it gets if the Lakers dont as it would be a great gut punch to Kawhi especially.
The Raptors have become my second favourite team. The culture that has been created is amazing. There is no ego with any player. Kawhi fit it well, but he also reinforced the exactly what they were aiming for. Nobody whines about wanting the last shot. The team is full of two way players. If OG was with the Lakers, he would be a fan favourite. Van Vleet is quickly becoming one of the most dangerous guards in the league. Quite honestly, if I could swap their entire roster with ours, including front office and coaching, I would do it in a second. They will always struggle with players wanting to go North, but the guys that do fit what they have created.

What about Houston? _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:
Totally along for this. I think Toronto is coming out the East again. Would honestly be surprised if they don't assuming everyone is healthy. They're the most complete team in the conference from what I have seen.
If coach of the year goes to anyone besides Nick Nurse or Billy Donovan, then it's rigged imo.
Toronto playing playoffs basketball in the regular season.
I can't wait till they get exposed when other teams start playing playoffs basketball in the actual playoffs.
I may be wrong. But it'll be fun to find out _________________ 💜💛 🏆 👀 🍖 #18!!!

I think they're an extremely dangerous team that will take a few games from anyone playing them but I feel with the rotations tightened and the Lakers locked in defensively we take them in a series. I really hope the Clippers have to face them in the Playoffs though. That would be a very draining series for them even though I think they also take them out in 6-7 games.
I will say though I believe the Rockets are the only other team outside of the Clippers where the Lakers would need there A game to advance.

To me, it's a foregone Toronto will win the championship this year. They've been far and away the best team in the league this season and they have the bodies to throw at Giannis and AD if it comes to that. Toronto will drop their first game as is tradition but then they will roll the rest of the way.
I won’t be cheering for them and their annoying “He Stay” fan base. You must have forgotten all the casual Canuks who came out and talked crap to us over the Kawhi chase.
Not sure if I’d cheer for anyone else. _________________ “You have to dance beautifully in the box that you are comfortable dancing in.” - Kobe Bryant

Why are they bitter towards the Lakers? It was the Clippers who blatantly tampered with KL. The guy clearly didn't want to come to the Lakers. _________________ On Lakersground, a concern troll is someone who is a fan of another team, but pretends to be a Lakers fan with "concerns".
