Uh yes.
It's just game 1.
Lakers haven't had a real game since the clippers game.
I expected them to be flat. Didn't expect a loss. But they'll come back.

Should’ve started this before the game. Because now, gearing up for the playoffs and handling the opposing team’s second unit matters. I heard And read so many damn excuses!

Look at the bright side, losing game 1 it the same as losing game 3 in the bubble, there are no road games

Yes, but I don’t feel like they can beat the Rockets with this abysmal three-point shooting.

We missed an inordinate amount of threes. Our two best players -- one of whom is an excellent free throw shooter -- missed four straight free throws. We spotted them at least 10 points in that first. And yet, we had a lead. One or two minor breaks and it's a Laker win.

We'll be fine.

Nope, never was. I had some hope that our shooting might return to even below average, but its still stuck in historically bad territory.

The good news is that in the bubble, it's not like we lost home court advantage or anything. This doesn't force us to have to win a game on the road in a place like Portland. In that sense, coming back from series deficits like this could be easier, assuming we get our (bleep) together and hit just a handful more shots.

Feels like the 2011 Mavs series. Despite us having the better roster, they can’t miss and have the best player in the series (Dirk/Lilliard).

Unfortunately our shooters are scrubs and their switch was broken
I feel good about game 2 though.

Yes. Instead of a 4-5 game series, most likely 6 games now. We will win, but we gave away a win tonight.

Cautiously had Lakers in 6, but if the Lakers lose game 2 then Blazers will be moving on to round 2.

It’s not that 2-0 is insurmountable, it’s that the Blazers will be able to shoot their way to 2 hot games over remaining 5.

Truth. Roster is not constructed to win. Said it before season even began. You have Bron and AD with a bunch other “other guys” and yes Kuz is really just another “guy”.

Yet take Blazers: 3 of their five starters are easily our 3-6 best players if on this roster. Hell both their centers are far superior than ours. They also have depth they can rely on. Again, Lakers should have signed MELO.

Get by them, great now face Rockets with scorers all over.

And then the Clips who have so much depth

Still don’t expect us unfortunately to even make WCC as I don’t believe this team can manage to get through with such little depth. Way too much talent on Blazers, Rockets and Clips. We are one bad game from LeBron from being BLOWN OUT

Until they prove they can win a game... how could anyone have any confidence in the series.

Show me , don’t tell me!

Yeah, we just need to find a way to frustrate Lillard, we can’t let him be cocky while busting long range 3’s, hopefully AD and the others start to play good.

Nope. If you're relying on Danny Green and KCP to catch fire from 3 and somehow propel you to a championship, then you are better off living in that dream world you've created for yourself because reality is far, far more bitter.
