Really, though I was mad last night. But today were fine

Portland had 3 clutch 3 pointers down the stretch
We missed 4 free throws
If Portland makes 2/3 of those, and we make even 50% of freethrows its a 2 point difference.

The questions is
1. can we play better? - yes.
2. How often do Lakers make only 5 threes in a game? It was not Portland's D. it was an off night for Lakers. Based on our average we should be at least 9-12 threes.

Even in the bubble against good D like Raptors, Clippers, Jazz, Nuggets, Indy etc we can make 10-14 threes

3. Can AD can play better? - yes

3. Can Portland play better - I don't see it. Our defense kept them to those numbers.

If our defense stays the same and we make a few more free throws and even a few more threes, its a win.

We probably end up winning the series but I don’t see us winning against teams like the Rockets or Clippers.

yeah, our depth stinks

Our 3-8 guys in terms of minutes are below par compared to those other teams
Kuz, Green, KCP, Mcgee, Caruso, Dwight

Williams, Pat Bev, Marcus Morris, Reggie Jackson, Zubac, JayMchael Green

Covington, Gordon, Pj Tucker, House, Jeff Green, Austin Rivers

its just our Top two AD+Lebron are soo good, but not sure if ther "others" are good enough. Well see

this is why we need that 3rd star. right now we are very top heavy in terms of talent, but that top is a very thin group only consists of an aging LBJ and a walking injury to happen AD.

Coming into the seeding games, I always believed that our toughest opponents in order would be:

1. Rockets
2. Blazers
3. Clippers

We just don't match up well with high rates of three point shooting because our team can't hit as many threes to catch up with them. Also, we lost Avery who was our only hope in guarding Harden, Westbrook, CJ, and Dame.

I like our chances against the Clips more than Rockets/Blazers.

Portland has been hitting clutch threes for the whole restart. And yes, Portland can play much better. You'll see that tonight. Lakers defense isn't all that. Portland has the #1 defense in the 2020 NBA Playoffs.

Rockets aren't that great. They may not get past the first round. Especially if Westbrook comes back. He's horrible.

No, we're in deep doo-doo.

We're probably playing against the hottest shooting team in the bubble while we couldn't hit water if we fell off the deck of the Titantic. Even the odds have plummeted on the Lakers winning this series.

The way we're shooting, game 2 is a must-win. If we don't win, I can see us getting broomed.

I guess we did see. Lakers in 5, with a ton of offense and only half this Laker team at best playing defense.
