Let's see how they adjust in Game 2 first before sticking a fork in them.

Vogel made zero adjustments for portland FYI; so we're banking on LBJ and AD having to score 60 points on 80% shooting again

Yes, Lakers will win in 6.

Kuzma needs to be benched though. He's completely useless out there and he's become a bit of a chucker, rarely passes the ball when he gets it.

KCP should also not be getting so many minutes. Play JR and Dion. Otherwise, why did we bother signing them?

It's looking bad. Losing game 1 to the Blazers is one thing, but this Rockets team is battle hardened and not too different from the team that took the 2017 Warriors to 7.

Arguably better since Russell Westbrook always kills us.

Yeah, definitely seems like Westbrook plays at a higher level when he plays us, hopefully the reason we looked flat was because of the long lay off and not because we got out-played.

Let me check.. Oh LeBron is still on the roster? Please.. Lakers in 5. Beating LeBron only seems to irritate him.

To me the Lakers looked out of rhythm and lack of energy. You saw them getting beat to rebounds and also careless turnovers. Sometimes happens after time off.

One thing I saw Houston doing is fronting Davis and having someone cover the rim to prevent the lob.

lakers need to go to film and see how to take advantage of this. I think they tried a pass to the weak side for a corner 3. But that’s predictable and Houston is quick.

Some film review practice and a wake up call..again! And hopefully they will be back to rhythm.

Rockets outworked the Lakers. Pushed them around in the paint, attacked the rim and smothered them into taking bad shots all game long.

If Harden is the best player on the court this could be a short series. Davis and James need to dominate not get others involved.

Going to be interesting to see if the Lakers can find some fight. Because after seeing the Rockets battle through the last series and then dominate a rested Laker team does not inspire confidence. Lakers need to “want it” more then what we just witnessed.

Unless they find it they are not getting out of this series.

I have faith we can adjust, but Houston played like an entirely different beast out there. If we can't match their intensity, then it's over.

I don't understand why the Lakers look so unmotivated. Did they let their record get to their heads?

Being over rested seems to be disadvantageous for game 1s. Cannot just give games away against better teams like the Clips.
