For sure. Just have lower confidence this time. The Blazers had no one to guard Lebron and AD.

They have nobody that can stop those guys, but they can clog the lane and try to turn them into jump shooters. Even though AD had good shooting numbers I thought Tucker did a pretty good job of keeping him out of the lane. And the Rockets overall did a good job of making it difficult to feed the post.

not confident at all.

but otoh it's not like a 2nd round exit would be a surprise. this team looked in the bubble more like a solid playoff team then a real contender.
they have no solution for the rockets.

AD and LeBron pretty much need to go off to win this series. Rondo and Kuzma plus other supporting cast were atrocious. Harden and Westbrook were taunting most of the game. Lakers didn’t respond.

How funny will it be if the two teams with the best regular season records go out in the second round?

And a Clippers vs Celtics/Heat in the Finals is something I won't watch one minute of...

It will all depend on the adjustments we make in Game 2.

Hope JR plays next game. There is no spacing for Bron and AD when Rondo is on the floor. Rockets rather have Rondo taking 3's than Bron and AD scoring inside.

The Lakers are not panicking after losing Game 1.

"Game 1 was a feel-out game," Morris said. "We wasn’t trying to lose no game, but we definitely was trying to feel them out, knowing that they have to beat us 4 times, and we have to beat them 4 times."

Markieff seems confident. However, having a feel out game against the Blazers is different than having a feel out game against the Rockets. Hopefully it doesn’t come back to bite them.

Fix the offense and rotations, and I'm absolutely confident.

Rondo should never be on the floor with LeBron, he sucks the air out of the offense when he has the ball. He can't play off of LeBron because he doesn't have catch and shoot instincts. I don't even care if he bricks them, just shoot the damn ball when you have an open look at a three.

If Rondo has to play, I want to see him on the floor with McGree, Morris, Kuzma, and KCP. Or substitute McGree/Morris for AD if you see fit. That way he can be the point guard, orchestrate the offense, and set guys up.

Also, I'm pretty sure I didn't see the LeBron/AD two-man game the entire second half. No one can stop that play, no one.

Do those things and we win. Rondo and LeBron on the floor at the same time is an absolute no-go. 25 minutes of that every game, and this series is lost.

538 Raptor Algo. got us with a 16% chance of advancing.

The way Markieff has been playing, every game must be a feel out game for him.

But really, its going to be upon the team collectively to step up and stop treating Game 1's like 'feel out' games. You can 'feel out' and still win.

So we'll definitely see by Game 2.

Very concerned that:
1. Our adjustments will include going small, which will only play into Houston’s hands more.
2. The apparent requirement that we play Rondo. This guy could seriously single handedly lose the series for us.

Team is fine. We'll beat the loser Rockets in 6 or 7. Either or is fine with me. The longer it goes, the better, so we're not rested for the next series.

In 09, we lost game 1 to these bums and ended up winning the series.

Moral of the story, the scrubs in Houston aren't winning a damn thing.

We CAN win it in however many games, but not lest they come out without some fire in their asses. Disgusting to see the same sh happen in another Gm1. Tudes need to be right for full games, plural, for the remainder of the series. I'll bet that makes this Lakers team all cranky that they actually have to perform and exert, but they put themselves behind the ball already.

Gm 5 of that series we won by 30 and Gm 7 by 19. It wasn't really as close as 7 games signifies under normal circumstances. That team was lazy, but clearly superior. This team doesn't have that kind of margin of error before opening tap. And the odds for teams that even go down only 0-2 are grim, historically. Hopefully these fools don't wanna put themselves in that spot.

No. Anthony Davis is soft as hell. Imagine PJ Tucker trying to hold shaq, hakeem.... Or better yet, since AD is a PF, Kevin Garnett or Tim Duncan they would eat that man alive. Not AD though, he thinks he's a dang point guard. I can't stand his no post moves having self some times. Get your big behind on that block and go to work. Stop hanging around the perimeter like you're a dang wing. Thinking you're dirk or something and even he had post. Frank Vogal is another concern of mine. His rotations and who he chooses to run with have been troublesome in my opinion. He has no Offensive strategy and with Lionell Hollins being a way, the defense is suffering. We have to knock down shots, that will come though. Our bench needs to play better. Rondo played well his 1st game back. I feel he holds the ball too long though, same with LeBron. They both are also slacking on defense. I blame it on old age. For Rondo, it's old age and his injuries makes him even older. A glassman resurrected as Rondo. He run over 1 mph he's getting injured. 24 minutes on his 1st game back? Frank should be ashamed of his self.

Yeah, we got em right where we want them, over-confident...!

But the Rockettes have a secret weapon, and it gives them an advantage, so basically they are playing 6 on 4, instead of 5 on 5! The name of that secret weapon.....Rondo!
