Feels good to be back on LG!
3-1
Goal #17
I can’t believe it before this round but we actually have the best ‘small ball’ 5 in the league, better D/close out rotation than the Rox and when we crash the board as hard as them, we win. Our ‘small ball’ still has shot blockers in Bron/Brow. We can even put up Bron-Kuz-AD trio bigs, all of them can cover wings, board, score 1:1, cuts well and drop open 3s.
Man, Dwight and JaVale gonna be so fresh against the clips

Speaking of small ball, I have heard the media blaming DA and Morey for this small ball idea and its a failure...but if I remember, didn't Harden want Westbrook over Chris Paul because Westbrook would fit the small ball scheme better? |

Why are we even bothering to play small ball vs Miami?
The first 9 mins of the 2nd quarter with Morris at the 5 yuck!
What’s Vogel saving Dwight for? 0 mins in the 2nd. _________________ |

I think you will see a little less small ball in the second half, but having that spacing makes it easier to break the zone. The Lakers are being strategic with lineups and how they attack. It was set up in a way where they would finish the half strong with AD and Bron.
What we need to do is maybe not take the first 3 pointer available. We have fallen in love with the quick 3, instead of working for a better 3 pointer.
We have taken mostly good shots though, even with small ball. It is not like we are not first getting the ball into weak areas of the zone. We make the zone move to someone behind it, then find the open man. That is good offense. Tonight our dudes are not hitting the 3s like game 1. To be expected, we are not the Warriors. |

My only guess is because of AD's foul trouble, but still no excuse not to put Dwight in instead, he didn't see the light of day in that whole quarter. _________________ Tacos |
