Am I the only one while watching other teams in the playoffs say to myself “why can’t the Lakers shoot the ball like that?” It seems that we are way behind with our 3 point shooting % compared to say the Nuggets, Rockets, Clippers, Celtics.... I realize that yes we actually aren’t as good as shooters as the other teams mentioned but the eye test is overwhelming. _________________ "You gotta take it like a fan"

I only wonder why we don’t always plays with heart
Honestly think the Lakers lack of 3pt shooting is all mental, we saw glimpses of the Lakers team shooting well from 3 against the Blazers, we just gotta stay locked in.
Yes, I have never seen another team play, ever. Does Kenyon Martin still play for the New Jersey Nets? _________________ “You have to dance beautifully in the box that you are comfortable dancing in.” - Kobe Bryant

We had the equivalent of a max cap space and couldn’t find even one decent shooter. Including the $15 million man. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:
Three point shooting is important, but I will die on the hill of the 73 win Warriors would get mopped by the Shaq/Kobe Lakers _________________ “You have to dance beautifully in the box that you are comfortable dancing in.” - Kobe Bryant

I don't know what the stats are, but I'm sure the difference is small. It's the "grass is greener" syndrome. You watch the Lakers every chance you get. So you see all their warts. You don't want any other team every chance you get. Their fans are complaining about them as well, especially after a lost.
Why can't we be more like the mighty Raptors or bucks
Or the powerhouse rockets who barely beat CP3
Then there are those clippers who have the best perimeter defense ever
YES!
It’s like every other team I watch has shooters. We need more from KCP and green. Those are supposed to be our shooters. They are both capable but for some reason it hasn’t been clicking. We need to try cook and jr Smith at some point if we can’t get anything from these guys
Nope, you're definitely not the only one. The Lakers have 'Streak' shooters and we brought them on board due to their percentages... However If you're only taking 3-5 total shots a game and most of those shots are three''s. If you're a decent shooter, you'll have a good percentage.
Bloated numbers IMO. Players like Harden and Eric Gordon are 'Scorers' who can shoot the 3-ball. Put players like Tucker and Covington who aren't necessarily scorers but like Tucker is solid from the corner 3... It increases their overall Percentage and make them look like a good shooting team.
There are a lot of teams in the league that have 'Scorers' that overshadow the Lakers and makes them look like better shooting teams, which they are... LOL
IMO which is why Kuzma should be starting... He's a Scorer. LBJ is more pass first really. Green, KCP, those guys are beneficiaries...
Kuz in the starting lineup, poses a real mismatch problem, but it would also for LBJ to play 'D' more, who would guard the smaller guards?
Putting AD at the 5 the rest of the way ensures a Championship for the Lakers.
I'm the same way. We may get a few 3 pointers from KCP, but he is very inconsistent. Realistically (and not in fan-mode), we have zero chance of winning it all simply because we don't have the shooters that the remaining teams have.
Ask yourself, after Lebron and AD, who can give us a good quality offensive game? Who can hit that game winning shot? Who else can you rely on to have an offensive impact on the game? Is there any other Laker after Lebron and AD that can score on this Lakers team; and I'm not just talking every now and then, but with some element of consistency.

Because someone in the Laker Coaching staff, thinks it is wise to double team Hardin and leave Tucker and all the other 3-point shooters alone...!
The end result is Hardin gets his 30 points anyway and the perimeter guys knock down 3 pointer after 3 pointer as Green/KCP put a hand up 10 feet away...! _________________ “Always remember... Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.”
