Last game the rockets shoot 41.5% from 3 with 22 made. They generally average around 35-36%..at least in the OKC series.

So I am thinking that percentage should drop..but at the same time Westbrook is likely going to play better. So we may still have the rockets scoring 105-110 points, which they seem to do most games.

The Lakers offense is just going to have to outscore them..not sure how the Lakers can slow their scoring down enough where they can win without having a big offensive game themselves.

I wonder if we just face guard the 3pt line and give up drives instead of always collapsing in the paint, if we would be better off.

Just give up the contested 2's or force guys like Tucker/House/Gordon to finish at the rim. I don't think Vogel believes in that, but watch the tape and there were times those guys were just trying to dribble towards the paint knowing we would swarm and they could start rotating the ball around looking for 3's.

Find a way to let Westbrook fall in love with the 3! The more he shoots the better

Gentlemen’s sweep? Kobe Hardin goes for 50 per game? They go micropen15 ball and start Gordon at center? 🤣

People say Westbrook should drive on open threes. With Lebron and AD, good luck buddy.

For all the faults of the Lakers being top heavy and having no bench or depth, the Lakers bench leads the playoffs in minutes and are 3rd in points behind the Clippers & Raptors. The Rockets & Celtics are bottom two in bench scoring.

A bench of Keef D12 Kuz Do & The Goat sounds pretty good as if this morning.

This is going to be a stressful series. Evidently we're gonna leave a handful of open threes no matter what, so our offense better be incredible tonight. Rondo needs to be just as disruptive.

We really need to do a better job guarding the 3, especially the short 3.

All the doubling on Harden is leading to open 3s

This is the series where they really miss AB.

He is the one guy who can eat some minutes and guard Harden straight up. He won’t stop him, but he will bother him enough to make a difference where the Lakers aren’t double teaming as often.

Should play him mostly straight up and double at key moments.

dont' sleep on Westbrook. all he has to do is knock down couple jumpers early to get his confidence up. i'd stick to the formula of limiting Harden's trip to foul line, let him take all the threes he wants. hope to get 2 of these 3 (best case all 3) into foul trouble early: Gordon, Tucker, Covington.

I agree. Make him drive and face AD or Howard.

Sadly very true. Most of the players aren't even bringing their kids, but I'll leave that alone.

Rockets seem ultra confident about this series. It will be interesting to see what series outcome is...if rockets win, I could see a lot of teams copycat their style. Which will make the NBA unwatchable lol.

Also Rondo picked him up full court and perhaps that makes things more difficult...lets see if that helps this upcoming game

The Lakers gave up an unlimited number of open threes and won anyway. They should do the same tonight.
