You enjoyed listening to them? I found them boring, much better to listen to a passionate commentator like Harlan.

LOL some things never change, on The Jump Richard Jefferson (no doubt still sore about his boy Luke's firing) is picking Den in 7 and Vinsanity is telling the Lakers to be careful in this series and potential Finals.

I didn't even make the RJ-Luke connection. That makes sense.

I was wondering why he was picking against LBJ, the man who gave him a ring.

The Nugget-Lakers regular season matchup is 3-1 Lakers.

The 1 win for the Nuggets was in LA without Lebron

1 win was in the bubble..but that game didn't matter.

2 Laker wins..were close and 1 overtime..so in theory it should be close games..but at the same time, the 2 wins were in Denver a hard place to play so should be close.

On a neutral court the Lakers should do well..

Yahoo: When play resumed in the Orlando bubble, the Lakers came out slow enough for James to reference off-the-court issues related to the team. Those, too, have yet to slow the Lakers, partly because they faced a worn-out Blazers team and a Rockets team that quit in the first two rounds of the playoffs

Jeff Richardson has 1 championship where he averaged 5 points and 5 rebounds in the 2016 Finals.

With that said, because he's at least a champion, I would value his opinion more then Carters.

But, he's clearly being salty.

We'll wrap this up in 5.

Book it Mitch.

Narratives always be changing lol.

I do believe the Nuggets are the most dangerous but that’s strictly because they have come back from 3-1 down in both rounds so we know nothing will phase them.

Lakers should still win but it will be the stiffest test because the nuggets have demonstrated the most mental toughness out of all the other west playoff teams not named Lakers.

I don’t believe anyone who says they think the Lakers might lose this series. It’s just manufactured discourse.

RJ was also picking the Clippers to beat the Lakers. When the Nuggets are eliminated, he'll pick the ECF champ to beat us.

I feel like SVG would be a better halftime guy. Like replace Paul Pierce with him and that show would get a lot better imo.

I think people like Paul because he says dumb things and they rag on him for it. In the vein of Charles. I think the main difference is that Charles has been away from the game longer and he knows that he wasn't the greatest especially due to the lack of a ring. So he comes off less ... what's the word... offensive?

Paul on the other hand has less time away from the game and actually won a ring. And he thinks he's better than he really is. Perhaps as years go by he'll realize who he really is and his shtick will be more appealing.

Re: SVG. He's whatevers. I don't know if how he really feels, but sometimes it sounds like he doesn't like Lebron. Or maybe it's just the Lakers... via Dwight perhaps? Haha. But he doesn't seem to give the Lakers as much love as they deserve?

Not surprising coming from a former Spur.

I like SVG. If he was paired with Harlan, that would be cool. I don't know his thoughts on LeBron. He probably is more neutral on him than other coaches that faced him since he beat him --- excuse me, whooped him -- in '09, a year where LBJ really had no excuses.

He almost certainly is not a fan of Dwight. DH got him fired, remember.

Single coverage when is with Jokic. If he is in the PR with Plumlee, hedge high/trap.

I’m getting a 2011 Mavs vibe from Denver. No one thought that the Mavs should have advanced that far at the time and I would guess most are surprised that Denver is in this position.

I don't get the point of invoking worn out and quiting. Everyone essentially faced the same obstacles in the bubble. If a team was tired or quit, well, that is why playoffs exist, to determine which team can best play through obstacles. Is there ever a team that isn't tired going late into the playoffs? But usually those teams don't get four months off before the playoffs. And as far as quitting or collapsing like the Rockets and Clips, again, when the games count we find out who the better team is. The better team won. We don't need to make excuses for the losers or excuses why the wins should count less for the winners.

I know it pains these sports journalists to credit the Lakers with anything, but maybe just once they could acknowledge reality.
