Denver hit some tough low percentage shots tonight... Some of those shots Murray took had me wondering how the hell those went in. Denver will be a tough team to put away.
But were a Danny Green or Kuzma away from going to the Finals. I'm still waiting for one of those guys to show up offensively. |

Denver Nuggets' Michael Malone: Will 'go through the proper channels' to ask about fouls
Quote: | After watching LeBron James go to the line 14 times and seeing Jamal Murray hit the floor a few times without a whistle late in Game 4, Denver Nuggets coach Michael Malone said his team might do what the Los Angeles Lakers did and reach out to the NBA about fouls.
"They went to the foul line 35 times," Malone said after the Lakers took a 3-1 lead over Denver in the Western Conference finals with a 114-108 victory on Thursday in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. "I think I'm going to have to go through the proper channels like they did to see if we can figure out how we can get some more free throws."
Malone was referencing what Lakers coach Frank Vogel said on Wednesday when asked about James' 10 total trips to the free throw line in the previous three games of the West finals. Vogel said the Lakers "were dealing with the fouls through the proper channels with the league." |

What happened to our tight defense? Just Murray ballin out of his mind? Feels like they get to the rims on one on one dribbling more than us (we had better passing tho) and we can’t post them deep up at all |

We've struggled all year against elite guard play. In the Portland series, it was easier to take Dame out because who else were they going to beat us with? In the Houston series, Russ could make it to the basket often, but was out of control much of the time. Murray is white hot right now, so I'm not shocked that he is lighting us up. |

We are in the Western Conference Finals with a 3-1 lead and people are only focusing on what they feel is wrong. What do we have to do... go undefeated and win every game by 30?
What's wrong with you people?
Folks like you complainers deserve the teams that could barely win 30 games |

Still concerned about AD's ankle.
Lakers just need to find a way to close this game out and give Lebron and AD some rest.
I also hope the Miami and Boston series goes at least 6. |

too late for malone complaining about officiating. Lakers got there first, now there's no way refs change the way they officiate game 5 after Malone's statements. officials don't want to give teams impression they'll change their style from game to game after each complaint. suck it Malone, we got there first LOL |

Anyone currently enjoying the euphoria of being up 3-1?
Feels good huh? Even feels great, knowing your team is "just about" on the way to the next series...
After all practically no teams ever come back from being down 3-1, right?
Oops, wait a minute, there are plenty of Jazz and Clipper fans sitting at home, cursing the NBA playoffs, that temporarily enjoyed that same feeling, until the Nuggs, stepped it up and ripped their guts out!
The Lakers need to approach Game 5 as a MUST win game, a close-out game, cause if they approach it with the mentality "that they only have to win 1 of the next 3 games" then they might see their hopes dashed once again...! _________________ “Always remember... Especially with Murray nothing wrong happened, we played excellent defense and he had something like ten highlights buckets, its ok, it cant happen all the time, i m impressed with the kid but not afraid. |

Great offense will beat great defense. The issue for us is we have no one going back at him on the other end. If he had to wear himself out defending DG, KCP, AC, etc., he wouldn't have the same amount of energy for offense. _________________ On Lakersground, a concern troll is someone who is a fan of another team, but pretends to be a Lakers fan with "concerns". |

I think it's a combination of many factors. Obviously Jamal is a star player in the making, he has a knack for making very tough shots (clutch too), Jokic is a devastatingly good passer and scorer which attracts alot of attention, Denver is playing looser than the Lakers because they are the underdogs, and not to mention their confidence level is sky high having defeated the 'powerhouse' clippers and come back from 3-1. Being in the WCF naturally raises his confidence level too |

Lucky for us it's a team game. He can score 60 for all i care, as long as they take the EL |

Murry's mid-range game is what really set him apart from Dame and Harden. therefore, Murry's FG% has been hovering around 50% throughout the playoffs. |

If this series goes 6 games (hope not) I wonder if the league will give them at least Sunday and Monday off. Supposedly the league gave the ECF 3 days off because they didn't want to compete with MNF. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

NBA finals are roughly set for Wednesday. The ONLY way it doesn't happen is if either series goes 7. It is extremely important to finish the series off on Saturday, to allow for the most amount of rest.
Otherwise, whether it's 6 OR 7 games...You're talking about just getting the next day off, before the finals start. |
