Come out ready from the tip. None of this wait till we down to turn it up crap. Bring the energy and out work them for loose balls and don’t give them offensive rebounds. We do that and we’ll be hoisting up that trophy at the end of the night

Vogel has been good about adjustments but it seems we have bodies to throw at jimmy and we aren’t doing it-

It’s been so long to feel that level of anger and frustration after a loss. I can’t imagine the frustration the team is going through right now but I hope the energy is used the right way. Losses like that can really break spirits but it can also galvanize a team. Our team is built on hard nosed defense, we will need to return to form without the stupid fouls and blown assignments to close this out. Can’t try and win this series in a scoring battle...lock them down and close it out!

When lebron went for his first rest, Miami went microball and Vogel kept howard in when he didn't need to. That was a mistake in retrospect. Next biggest mistake is if you rest Davis, you cannot have Markieff at the Center. It will not work, need to put howard back in, or go with McGee. If vogel can fix these two issues, our defense is good enough to finish them off.

Need to end this series tomorrow! LeBron will bring his A game, and, hopefully, AD can rest/heal up enough to be effective.

The keys to winning is always defense. Have to bring it defensively from the get go.

Butler’s minutes thus far:

33
44
44
43
47

He’s definitely playing more than he’s accustomed to. I am not suggesting we wait for him to get tired, but it is not sustainable.

Game 6 is ours. Focus. Faith. Sacrifice. Mamba Mentality.

Butler was gassed at the end of Game 5. Make him work on the defensive end as well. Save AD on him for later. They can’t have anymore slow starts. I have said that many of these Lakers have no idea what it’s like to close out a team for a title. Game 5 let them know it ain’t easy. Now you know. Defensive intensity, hit your threes, play high IQ basketball and let’s get this win.

Butler will be gassed in game 6, its up to the lakers to take the fight out of Miami early, and not give them any belief. Need to build a lead early on in the game instead of playing catch up.

Defense....
Defense is the key. Give them nothing comfortable. Completely lock in on this side of the floor.

Whatever happens on offense will happen. Defense is the key

This.

I hated our defense in game 5.
