RIP Sean Connery. A character actor friend (who shall go unnamed) worked on “The Rock.” At one point Michael Bay tried to direct his acting. Sean casually turned to him & said, “Why don’t you go blow up a bridge?”

There have long been stories about the making of this movie concerning Sean Connery, as a producer, taking control of the script rewrites and essentially directing the other actors himself on set because Michael Bay simply didn't know how to do either of those things well

Wow so he really did carry that movie. My theory on The Rock is that it's the spiritual culmination of the James Bond character.

His body of work is amazing. So many movies that fall under the "I'll watch it every time I catch it on TV".

That explains everything. The Rock never felt like the hokey, slo-mo filled, patronizing films that Bay's known for.

My favorites were Henry Jones Sr. in Indiana Jones & The Last Crusade and Senpai John Connor, Rising Sun.

Way too many great people have died in recent years, starting with Michael Jackson.

Connery's prime was way before my time, but I've always loved SNL making fun of him on those Celebrity Jeopardy skits where he keeps talking trash to Trebek (Will Ferrell).

Oh F#ç& no!

Darby O'Gill at #1?

Quote:
Movie title: Just Cause (1996)

Critics Consensus: Just Cause you round up a phenomenal cast, that doesn't mean you have everything you need for a solid legal thriller -- and this film is forgettable proof.

Starring: Sean Connery, Laurence Fishburne, Kate Capshaw, Blair Underwood

This one with Connery and Freeman looks promising.

I couldn't delete Trump's tweet. You know it was about him.

President Trump pays tribute to Sean Connery as actor's widow reveals he had dementia: 'It was no life for him'
