We would likely be 8-3 without AD if Dennis played. He makes a difference. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

The way our team is constructed, if one of AD or Lebron is out, Denis becomes exponentially more important. _________________ KOBE |

Get it done Rob. I rather have him locked up now and not be sweating if he will re-sign or not. We clearly need a ball handler like him. And he probably wouldn't be replaceable if he leaves.
I could see some East teams like the Knicks, Bulls and Heat targeting him. It's a weak free agency class especially if Jrue signs an extension and Kawhi/CP3 opt in. |

Dennis officially lays the question of who our 3rd most important player is to rest. |

Definitely. Dennis fits this team very well, skillwise and culturewise. Hope we can lock him up long term so we can focus on his individual development that will make him be able to help the team more. |

Maybe Lakers should adjust their play once AD return. I have observe that during the early minutes they always went to AD in the post. Which dictated how they will start the game, if AD had bricked his first few shots, they kinda have a slow start and vice versa. Also it lessens DS aggressiveness as he was looking for AD first.
Meanwhile when AD is out, Dennis was inmediately looking for his shot and attacks, and bron is a willing passer and letting him do his thing that early.
So maybe when AD return they need to go to Schroder early to.keep him going, AD and Bron will have their touches anyway specially in the later part of the game. I think DS is the type of player that needs to be aggressive early to give him momentum for the whole game. |

Agree with this. I also liked to see more of the Schröder-Gasol two man game they displayed against portland. I think vogel got something going on there. |

If this weren't obvious before, hopefully it's obvious now.
Edit: People probably think because his numbers are down that his impact is lower. Dennis makes an impact on both ends, and he was called a liability on defense in the past by the media |

Heck of a game by him, and he was attacking in a way that I would like to see on a consistent basis. The Lakers gave him much more freedom in this one, sort of like deferring to him. There was a play where he passed to Kuz, Kuz passed it right back. Dennis passes to Kuz, Kuz passed right back again. Then Dennis attacked. When Bron (and in the future AD) are not on the floor, Dennis has to stay aggressive like he was yesterday. Excellent game by him in that regard. Really happy about seeing this.
Also was awesome to see Trez have a game like that. Not a coincidence, but in the bench wars (When Bron sits basically) we were a +/- of 0. We stayed neutral. That is a key stat I always look at during games and after a game is over. If we don't bleed when Bron sits, we tend to win most of the time. That is why I think it is so important we get an aggressive Dennis and Trez when Bron is out of the game.
All that said, we did not win because of offense, but defense. Some really good rotations in this one. |

They had actually a decent defense in their 4 game losing streak, they just lack more firepower in the offensive end, which DS provided in this game. |

Kudos to Schro, he came to play last night. He attacked and forced Dame to play a little defense too. He speed and aggressiveness caused the Blazers problems all night long.
DS was sorely missed; I'm glad he's back! |

Check out the PnR action between Schroeder and Trezz. There was quite a bit more than previously. Good times. |

I love Dennis and Harrell. Even if they miss shots, make bad plays, these two dudes NEVER give up and never give a halfass effort.
How can people complain about either one of these guys?
If Kieff could hit some shots, Matthews contribute something and KCP hit a shot or two more, we will be in every single game, even without Davis.
I hope Dennis gets locked up long term.
I felt his energy last night was contagious. I think Lebron knows Dennis is a dog like him. |

I’ve been on Team Dennis from day 1. I think the team has high hopes for him in the future. And we tangibly saw his worth in his absence (0-4, several winnable games where our other guards just wet the bed). I hope folks give him more of a chance. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |
