He’s gonna be a Improvement offensively over Danny Green, with him being so engaged being a Laker talking about his moment as a kid in the forum, I can see him having a really nice season for us.

I'm surprised and somewhat amazed that Matthews is actually a good defender these days. Appreciate the stats guys. I figured his defense was gone with the Achilles, shows how little I paid attention to him recently. Here's hoping he picks up where Green left off once he's acclimated. I picture AC and KCP getting consistent playing time, keeping Matthews healthy as the season progresses. Cautiously optimistic here.

Yup, he's a better on ball defender. He can also put the ball on the floor for more than two dribbles without it being an instant turnover. DG was a great professional and now that he's gone I have mostly positive thoughts but i'm happy I wont have to hear his random whining on his podcast and watching him continue his decline because it's only going to get much worse imo sooner then later.
Wes has such a better vibe about him on and off the court from what ive seen on top of just being the better player in there current stages.
