Hi everyone!

Marc Gasol was on Ibai's Twitch channel (channel in Spanish, a few days ago he was named the best streamer in the world 2020). It was a very funny conversation because Ibai is a super charismatic streamer, but in summary I can tell you that he has chosen the number 14 to play for the Lakers and that although several teams were calling him, he wanted to think about his options calmly, but in the end It was an easy choice because of the players he has and the options to win the title, which is the most important thing for him.

Ibai's channel: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/814332232 MIN: 21

Greetings!

It was an interesting interview. He also praised the defensive mindset of the team as well as how his style of play can help LeBron and AD in the offensive side.

Official Lakers site doesn't say so. It looks like his number is 33. But his jersey on the photo is 14. It's complicated. Lol.

The site is wrong, since #33 is retired for Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
He's wearing #14.

My guess is he takes #11 (his Iowa State number) now that Bradley's in Miami.

When we had young Marc he was fat, slow and out of shape. Now he isn’t so fat or out of shape but still slow. It will be good to see a Laker jersey with Gasol on the back.

How odd.

I mean I don’t really care either way but it’s weird that I don’t know which number is real now lol.

Marc Gasol shot 43% on his corner threes last season.

It was ashamed that we couldn't keep McGee. He is the athletic center that we lack on our lineup

His body was never the issue. What makes McGee useless is his brain. He’s the alltime Shaqtin the fool for a reason, and what made him useless and a liability in the playoffs.

McGee’s career in general will go down as a massive underachiever. The dude was gifted great height and athleticism, but didn’t know how to properly play the game of basketball other than jumping to block shots.

Not only is Trez athletic, he's explosive. Just loses out on height though

Even with the loss of height, Trez has a 7’5 wingspan. The game is not exactly played with your neck.
