I'm not surprised. Everytime he came into the game, he looked like he had the deer in headlights look.

He needs to build confidence with his game as well as develop decision-makring on the floor. I still have high hopes for the kid.

now hopefully the next move is to waive slava and bring in either thomas, delk or sprewell. no way we resign slava next year at least i hope not. might as well use his roster spot for someone that can helpa little.

Hopefully, he develops because he has the potential to be a player that could average 15 to 18 ppg in the NBA.

lakers are going to lose or win without him. it is too late to play him now since he hasn't had PT over the year. This is good for him since by the end of the year PJ should be tired of Walton or even Sasha who will end up expendable losers if the lakers end up in the lottery. Wafer can come in next year unblemished and unscathed since he was far away from the team if it really falls apart.

They should send Kwame to the D-League too, and Lamar could also use a weekend in Fort Wayne to practice right hand lay-ups and free throws. Actually, without Kobe, we have a D-League team

Bynum should go too.

A) He needs minutes; and,

B) He might fool around and learn how to box out.

I know, I know. He's just learning sooo much from practicing against Kwame and Mihm.

Just to think, had this kid spent the first half of the season in the D-league, he just might have learned some basic skills (i.e. boxing out; showing on P&R; creating space with his body so he doesn't get his shot blocked by SF's, etc.).

I'd much rather have had him do it this way, then let Kareem have him for the entire off-season.

But alas, he's been unable to even manage garbage minutes against the likes of the Celtics and Clippers.

I know, I know. The Laker organization doesn't want to expose him to the rest of the league lest they ask for him in a trade.
