Its all comes to one thing. Davis being healthy or not. If he is on 100% and focused we can compete with any team. If any of these two things are not in line we cannot. Simple as that.
Of course. You aren't winning anything with only one star player in this league.

Brooklyn seems to have a gem at center in Nicolas Claxton if he remains healthy
17 Points 3 Blocks 1 steal vs Spurs
Young, athletic center that seems to be able to keep guards in front of him. If he remains healthy he could wind up being a problem. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

KD getting tons of rest while his two super friends continue destroying the league, while our LBJ continues putting up meaningless minutes.
My only hope is this comes back and bite them in the behind like what Kawhi's load management did to the Clips.. doubt it though
This is a concern. KD has barely played this year, they are trying to keep him in bubble wrap until the playoffs given his injury history.
It back fired for the Clips like you said, so maybe karma will strike again. With these top heavy teams, you generally need to get reps on the court - it's easier to blend 2 stars than 3 stars, so if they don't get court time it could bite them.
Still annoying that KD can't ever just compete, we finally got to a situation where there were 2 stars spread out across the league and he immediately goes and forms another 3 star super team right after leaving GSW.
For what it’s worth, AD is having a lot of rest as well. And with schroeder back, we can start again with limiting bron’s minutes (just 24 i think against the warriors).

KD getting all this rest is annoying only because the Nets look really solid without him. Bruce Brown has really surprised me.

1) Harden went to HIM
2) Let's not act like we weren't out there trying desperately to make Kawhi/LeBron/AD happen. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

The thing with KD is...if he’s ok with a super stacked team...why did he leave Warriors in the first place? Didn’t he leave cuz he felt he didn’t get enough credit? Now with Harden on board...won’t it end up being the same?
We did try to make a superteam with Kawhi but I’m kind of glad we didn’t because no one would’ve respected a ring like that (and rightly so)

Yeah he'll again be viewed as an offensive piece alongside the more impactful player running the system (Steph/Harden). I don't think the Nets ceiling is as high as GS, but it's higher than a lot of people want to admit.

On GSW, he joined a team that had already won without him. Not the same with the Nets, and Harden came after Durant.
It's kind of funny how Durant is now arguably Harden's sidekick though when Harden was once the distant #3 guy in OKC. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:

this is why imo they dont make it out of east. the team thanks to dantoni is in harden mold. reg season juggernaut but he will be weak link in post season and for the primary ball handler thats not good.
If Nets win with their roster...KD will never receive the praise he is seeking. He left The Warriors to prove he didn’t need a Monstar squad to win...but winds up getting Harden and creating another Monster Squad (offensively at least)
I understand wanting to have a good team and every year there are contenders and championship favorites but what KD is doing goes even beyond what Lebron attempted to do with Miami.
Luckily for Lebron that Heat team was trash outside the big 3 in 2011 and Wade wasn’t Wade anymore from then on so Lebron had to turn in historic performances multiple times to keep them alive so his rings aren’t viewed like the KD Warriors ones (by most people)
Both attempted to create title favorites but KD is apparently much better at it lol

KD is sneaky. He said no to Kawhi, but worked behind the scenes with Kyrie and Harden.
He knows if he won with Kawhi, everyone would say look he had to join another champion and finals MVP.
With Harden, the narrative will be that Harden needed KD and to a lesser extent Kyrie.

I mean that's your opinion but at the end of the day, he cares about getting rings. As long as he has more than LBJ he will be happy no matter how he got them.
While some people might agree with you now, if he wins back to back those same people will be talking like he is the greatest of all time.

No one will be saying that out of good faith, especially since Steph and Harden are the more valuable players in terms of their shot creation.

It's was just two years ago when everyone and their mom had him as the best player in the NBA. The second he wins another champion his greatness will jump into the stratosphere. Championships matter... But he still needs to win. Let's see if he can beat LBJ and AD

If KD wins he will have one advantage over LeBron. LeBron lost in 2011 with a monster squad in a series that many felt he should have won. That has always been a stain on his legacy. His Finals record isn’t good.
Even years after 2011, people here were calling Miami a super team.
Also, Lebron helped recruit experienced vets that could shoot the 3 like Ray Allen, Shane Battier and Mike Miller to the Heat.
