What did y’all think about it today? I think we should experiment with it more often. It gives Caruso, Kuz, THT more minutes. I think it allowed those players get into rhythm.

An ideal 9-man rotation for me would hopefully still cut down AD’s and Bron’s mins.

Gasol (18) - Trez (30)
AD (33) - Kuz (15)
LeBron (33) - Kuz (11) - THT (4)
KCP (28) - THT (16) - Caruso (4)
Schröder (30) - Caruso (18)

Yeah I was doing a write up for todays game and I noted that in the coaching section. For sure, 9 man rotation was by design by Frank in this one.

I think in this instance it was to get some more ballhandling and dribble penetration (paint play). Kieff and Wesley are useful around AD-Bron starting lineups, but when you look at them being on 2nd units, you need some more ballhandling and dribble penetration which you get with THT.

It was better, and I like it. It was something I advocated for, since that loss to the Pistons. Too much musical chairs, trying to equally distribute minutes between Wes, Caruso, and THT. It wasn't working, and it wasn't fair to them. Give guys minutes so they can get into a rhythm, and play them accordingly. Should have been done a while ago. Better late, than never, tho.

Hope to see the Lakers build on this. Still a lot of sloppy play, down the stretch.

AC should play 30+ minutes. He has positive +/- most of the time even on losses.

He had +14 in today's game (highest) in just 19 minutes of play which is 2nd to the last playing time in the rotation today. Even THT played longer. smh

AC and tht defense and energy is very good. They both need more minutes

I like the 9 man rotation. Lets stop playing around with lineups.

With his 9 man rotation experiment today. Does it mean that he already finished with his 10 man rotation? Guess who will be benched next game.

I think it would be very bad coaching if you lock yourself to a certain rotation. Luckily the coaching staff did a good job of adjusting during last playoffs, so I'm confident they won't start MDA like "this is our system and if it doesn't work it's someone else's fault" bullcrap.

He said post game that it is not permanent although I wish he doesn’t do the 11 man rotation anymore. 11 is too much. I’ll rather have 9 or 10 where we rotate guys resting every game.

He use the same 9-Man rotation today. Hoping Kieff and Matthews will be professionals about this.

After Jokic matchup, need to rest Marc for a game or 2 and use Kieff and Cacok at center.

I love this rotations. Sometimes just switch THT and Wes or THT and Morris and thats it. Its really great to have this 9 man rotation. It gives more consistency to the guys.

Looks like we found the rotation that will win us games. We won three games against really good teams. Undefeated so far with these 9.
