Im curious if/how vogel can transform AD2 to an above average rim protector. He’s at least shown some semblance of athleticism and willingness. |

Playing 2K21 and just letting CPU vs CPU.
CPU Vogel is playing both Drummond and Gasol together in the 2nd quarter and it's beautiful! Gasol with 2 entry passes/alley-oops to Drummond so far, then Drummond passing out to Gasol for a 3 and Lakers are killing the Nets by 16 points!
Can we see this happen in real game? _________________

Not how I saw the fumbles. Some were when dribbling. Some were right in the pocket and he didn’t catch cleanly. Seemed to occur more often then not.
We will find out how much of it was just the “butterflies “ of adjusting to a new team. Anyone watch a lot of Pistons or Cavs basketball that can confirm if this is the norm for Drummond? |

I can kind of notice it when he faces up and puts the ball down. I'd like to see him more play back to the basket in the low post and use his big booty to back his opponents down, more Shaq and less Trez. _________________

As was pointed out repeatedly during the game by the announcers. This is not the role he will be playing when James and Davis return. He will be more complimentary then focused in the game plan. His post up opportunities will likely be mis-matches against smaller players and in more space where he can be more relaxed and just play within a more limited role.
And the Miami defense is really good at rotating and helping. Drummond was rushed trying to make moves. I am giving him the benefit of doubt he can be more in the “good hands” club then the “ hands of stone” club. At least I hope so! |

I like how he is always asking for the ball. I see him constantly with his arms stretched out above his head. Most of the time he is open, too. But too many times, the ball is not passed to him, especially by DS.
Hope this improves when AD and LBJ return. |

The first thing that I noticed about Drum is that he is a massive presence in the post. He's strong, has hops, and he's energetic. Great to have him. |

Looking forward to how he’ll facilitate out of the post against the Nets. Shooters should be ready for his kickouts. |

Loving AD2 so far. Can only see him getting better as he gets more acclimated to the team. |

Drummond has looked good thus far. And he’ll be better once LeBron returns. This will allow us to be more cautious with AD, which is fine with me.

In only 22 minutes. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

On Drummond's night from Lakers MR:
Andre Drummond finished tonight's game with 20 points and 11 rebounds, joining Bob McAdoo as the only Lakers players to log a 20-point, 10-rebound game in 22 minutes or less, according to Stathead Basketball. |

I’ll be honest, I wanted to see more Drummond tonight but glad he got to sit and rest. _________________ |

It's clear to me that Drummond is the 3rd best player on the team |

Amazing that he got to rest that toe! What a great performance by AD2 and a terrific win for the team! |
